Ballard, best known for his roles on television shows such as Numb3rs, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Queen of the South, One of Us Is Lying, The Family Business and Grey’s Anatomy, may be familiar to some in the daytime world. He made his television debut as Frankie Hubbard, the son of All My Children supercouple Jesse (Darnell Williams) and Angie (Debbi Morgan), on Loving from 1993-1995 and went on to star on The City from 1995-1996.

Ballard makes his debut on Sept. 3 in the mysterious role.

Charlotte and Danny find Jack, dead in the water. Danny wants to leave him while Charlotte thinks they need to call the police. He says they’ll get into trouble if anyone finds them with a dead body, so they take off.  

Elizabeth, Ric, Portia and Isaiah Go on an Awkward Double Date

Ric meets with Lulu and asks her help with Liz. He says he’s supposed to join her for a double date with Isaiah and Portia but doesn’t want to mess things up.Lulu tells him to relax and be himself.

Ric joins Liz, Portia and Isiaah for their double date. Isaiah apologizes to Ric for dropping the civil suit against Curtis, but Ric understands he didn’t want to make things worse. The four discuss softball and who will win next year’s tournament.

Dante talks to Lulu, who is worried about Rocco because he’s never around and is always detached. He admits he spoke with Britt, but Rocco hasn’t spoken to her either. Dante thinks they need to stop hovering, or they’ll push Rocco further away. Lulu says she wants Rocco to know they trust him.

Trina’s Stalker Adds a Photo to The Vision Board on General Hospital

Trina and Gio are nervous before their first gig, but Brook Lynn reassures them. Emma, Kai and Josslyn show up for moral support. Quinn shows up as well and sings Trina’s praises to Emma. Gio tells Emma he’s grateful for Brook Lynn getting him back into music. Emma convinces Gio to thank his mother, which he does.

Simon talks to Brook Lynn about showcasing Gio and Trina as a couple, while she thinks it’s unnecessary to force it. Simon approaches Kai and tells him not to hold Trina back as he won’t want to be the reason if her big shot doesn’t work out.  

Trina and Gio perform (I had to fast forward because I can’t with that). Afterwards, the stalker adds a current photo to his vision board.  

Danny and Charlotte Leave Dead Jack Floating in The Pool

Danny and Charlotte head to the pier and discuss Jack’s death and think it’s best if no one knows they were there. Rocco and Scout overhear and wonder what they’ve done now. Charlotte says they borrowed Chase’s truck and got a ding in it, which upsets Scout.

Scout says he’s giving Drew another reason to keep them apart, but Danny says it doesn’t matter what he does as Drew hates him. He says if their mother were alive, she’d tell him he’s selfish but that information angers Scout even more. Charlotte defends Danny and bad mouths Drew, which again upsets Scout. Rocco calls her on her hypocrisy, reminding her Valentin ran with her for years. Scout says she doesn’t want to have to choose between her father and Danny and storms off. Charlotte realizes she’s missing her bracelet.  

Ava insists on Drew leaving Jack’s room because she thinks he’s on his way back to his room. The two head down to the pool and find Jack’s body.

Carly Calls Jason to Fix Her Security Woes on General Hospital

Carly calls Jason to come help with her security issue and tells him all the feeds are down, the alarms deactivated and hopes he can fix it. Jason figures it’s a deliberate act and checks the computer and finds a virus. Jason asks about the vault, but she says it’s on a different system. Jason wonders who would benefit and asks about VIP guests. Carly says Jack is staying at the hotel.

Jason says he’ll check Jack’s room and Carly insists on going with him. They don’t find Jack in his room, but Jason realizes someone was in there, looking for something.

Drew wants to take off but Ava says the sleeping pill will be found in Jack’s system, which will lead back to her. If that happens, she promises to take Drew down with her. The two agree they need to get rid of the body. They put the body, which includes Charlotte’s bracelet,  in the laundry cart to get him out of the hotel.

Now, a murder mystery is afoot; drugged by mob queenpin Ava Jerome (Maura West), the salt-and-pepper fox was later found swimming with the fishes in the Metro Court pool.

In his exit interview with TV Insider, McKenna noted that he was very grateful for his time in Port Charles, but he was disappointed that it came to an end when it did. He also expressed that he’d hoped to see certain storylines play out in ways other than how they did, explaining:

I do think that Jack had an extremely unfortunate run of bad luck circumstances that influenced a lot of story since I took over. When they put me on contract a year ago, I was very much looking forward to the Jack and Anna [Devane, Finola Hughes] love story that they were very clearly going to do and the love triangle with Jack, Anna and Carly [Spencer, Laura Wright, but then we got Carly and Valentin [Cassadine, James Patrick Stuart] instead, and Jack got the short end of the straw there. But also, that story ended up giving Jack some of the best material I’ve ever been able to do on camera, so the work I’m most proud of came from that storyline. And then I was very much looking forward to Jack coming out of his coma to save the day and kill [Ross] Cullum [Andrew Hawkes], but then John Oliver [Z] ended up becoming involved, and Jack gets sidelined during the big climax. Again, a decision I was very fond of. I loved John Oliver and I was really excited about that whole thing, but Jack wasn’t involved in the climax anymore.

More recently, Jack had killer chemistry with one of his many nemeses, Nina (Cynthia Watros). Unfortunately, fans won’t get the opportunity to see if an enemies-to-lovers storyline could result. Of Brennan and Nina’s sparks, McKenna said jokingly:

I don’t want to put words in Cynthia’s mouth, but I think we both felt that we had a really special kind of crackling chemistry between us, and it was gonna be really fun, so, I will continue to operate under the belief that ‘Brennina’ is the greatest love story <em>GH</em> never told.

McKenna is a soap veteran; he previously played Joey Buchanan on One Live to Live and Detective Mark Harding on The Young and the Restless. McKenna slipped into the role of Brennan, originated by Charles Mesure, in early 2025.

Burton talked about a specific example, saying:

But there's a guy on the show right now who came on the show and you guys will see him. He may have aired. I'm not sure, but I had some scenes with him and I can't say what it is yet. But I said, 'Do you know exactly what's happening?' Because there was, you know, his decision-making in the scene had to do with events that have happened in history with some characters, right?

Burton went on:

And he's like, 'I don't really know what's really happened, but I do make, you know, I create the backstory myself.' You know, he's been an actor for a long, long time. He's been on some primetime shows. He's done this a long time, right? So I said, "Do you mind if I just tell you kind of, you know, what this is, who this is, why they're doing it, and what the involvement for me is, and this?" He goes, 'No, I would love to.'

Curtis is not happy to have Sidwell as his cellmate. Sidwell says he doesn’t want any trouble from Curtis. He says their actions led them to the same place but people like Sonny walk free. Curtis says he’s never had a problem with Sonny, but Sidwell points out he’s in harm’s way as a former police officer. Sidwell says Curtis will get into the crosshairs of whatever Sonny has planned for him.  

Drew and Sonny Battle Over Control of The Piers

Laura tells Drew she’ll be out of town and wants him and Sonny to keep the peace while she’s gone. Drew says there is no peace with Sonny, but Laura wants to discuss the auction of the piers. She says she knows he’s interested as well as Sonny and she’s hoping one of them will bow out. Sonny says Drew only wants the piers to spite him, but Drew says he wants the piers for legal business. Sonny counters he’s legal now, but Drew laughs if off. Sonny warns Drew not to stand in his way of getting his piers back.  

Drew says it’s not fair for Laura to ask him to bow out while Sonny’s running around killing people. Laura says this is her town and she’s had enough of this crap in her town. Drew says he’s not stepping aside for the piers or anything else and bad mouths Laura. She says she’s shutting down the fighting between them and brings up Drew’s alliance with Sidwell. Drew doesn’t take heed of her warning and storms off.

Sonny complains about Drew, but Laura tells him not to let the feud drip down to the younger generation because Danny, Scout and Rocco are the ones who’ll get hurt. Sonny promises not to let Drew get to him.    

Jack Drinks Ava’s Drugged Up Concoction on General Hospital

Jack tells Ava he has to head out but she insists on discussing Nina while pushing him to drink. Ava says Nina wants things with him to work out but that needs help navigating a relationship with her. Jack agrees to talk and takes a swig of the drink.  

Ava talks about Nina’s issues with her own mother and how it affects her relationship with Willow and Jack agrees. He says he’s been caught between mother and daughter before, but Ava defends Nina. Jack decides he’s done and leaves. Ava tries to text Drew to warn him.

Scout and Rocco Catch Chase and Willow in an Intimate Moment

Chase comes to his senses and moves away from Willow, reassuring her nothing happened and won’t. He knows things are stressful and she needs a friend and she agrees. Both leave and Scout and Rocco come out from the bushes.

Scout angrily believes Willow was in love with Chase the entire time she was married to Drew. Rocco didn’t hear it the same way, but Scout feels Drew was right to divorce Willow. Scout says it feels like Willow is betraying Drew but Rocco calms her down and reassures her.  

Dante Advises Chase to Steer Clear of Willow

Dante meets with Britt to discuss Rocco, who’s been distant and withdrawn. She is surprised and Dante says he hopes Rocco’s not hiding something terrible and asks if she knows anything. Britt says it’s hard for Rocco to see Cullum treated like a hero in the media when he knows the truth. She says Rocco is acting like a regular teenager, and they need to loosen the apron strings.  

Chase wants to discuss Willow with Dante and says it’s hard to see her in pain, now that’s she’s moved back into the gatehouse. He thinks Willow might still be in love with him and Dante says Chase represents the life she wants. Dante tells Chase to let her deal with everything on her own and he shouldn’t get involved.  

Willow runs into Britt at the bar and the two drink and discuss and complain about the men they want.  

Folks Get to Snooping on General Hospital

Carly gets a call from her security and tells Valentin that Michael hired Drew back at Aurora to keep an eye on him and Drew just received a package. She says she’s going to let herself into his office to snoop around. Valentin offers to help but she turns him down but he ultimately goes with her.     

Danny and Charlotte plan to snoop in Drew’s office to find something incriminating against him. Danny has a master key but before they can use it, they overhear Carly and Valentin and run off. Valentin searches the office while Carly keeps a lookout. Valentin finds an envelope with all of Drew’s plans to re-enter the corporate world.  

Drew lets himself into the security office to shut it down then heads to Brennan’s office to snoop around. Ava heads up there to warn Drew that Brennan is on his way back.  

Charlotte and Danny head to the pool for one last swim when they find the dead (?) body of………

Willow complains to Chase that no matter what she does, the allegations keep following her.  She says she always feels like she’s always about to lose her kids. Willow says people are always judging her and says how Michael forced her to move back in. She says it’s best for the kids but living here reminds her of all her mistakes. Chase gives her a pep talk and the two get close and have a moment. (Chase, I love you, but you’re dumber than a box of rocks)

Laura Asks Sonny to Keep The Peace in Her Absence

Sonny tells Laura that Justine went to Donna’s party, and Laura hopes she won’t face any backlash from it. Sonny says he’s divesting himself of all the criminal activity and doing everything above board. He says it’s time to reset with Sidwell gone. They spot Drew and Ava and Sonny complains about Drew coming after him and Laura doesn’t like them going to war

Sonny says Drew hates him and he’ll use anyone to take him down, including Rocco. Laura says they need to shut this down but that she’s going to Ireland to visit Kevin. She asks Sonny to keep the peace while she’s gone and he promises he will. Later, Laura wants Drew and Sonny to sit down and end the hostilities between them.  

Is Sidewell Curtis’ Cellmate on General Hospital?

Anna checks in with Jordan and asks how she’s dealing with Curtis being in jail. Jordan says it’s been a challenge and Anna wonders why Curtis didn’t take the plea deal. Jordan says there was someone on the road that night and Anna knows Curtis blamed Isaiah. Jordan says she understands Curtis’ hatred for Isaiah but blames herself for not pushing him to take the deal.  

The warden checks if Curtis is ready to go into the general population. Curtis promises he’s going to be a model citizen in order to get home to his family. The warden says there could be issues because he’s former law enforcement, but Curtis says he’s not looking for trouble. The warden says he’ll be partnered up with another high profile prisoner. Curtis recognizes who it is. (Sidwell, I presume)

Jack Warns Carly to Steer Clear of Josslyn’s JJE Gig!

Carly talks to Valentin about the WSB wanting Josslyn to run JJE, but Valentin understands why the WSB is doing it. Jack storms in, interrupting them to discuss Josslyn joining JJE but says he doesn’t know the details. Jack warns Carly that she can’t interfere in Joss’ work in any way. Jack bad mouths Valentin, claiming he’s only with Carly to get back at him. He says Carly will always be runner up to Anna, because of the hold she has on Valentin.  

Valentin apologizes for calling the clinic to check on Anna, but Carly says she understands it would be the same for her if it was Jason. She says she’s choosing to move forward and trust him.  

Previous General Hospital (GH) recap: Alexis Believes Both Drew and Willow Are Monsters

Ava joins Nina who asks what’s happening between her and Drew. She says she needs an ally against Sonny to protect herself. Ava says Sonny tried to use Avery against her which surprises Nina. Ava says he belittles her and attacks her. Ava says she and Drew are just joining forces, but Nina says Drew can’t be trusted. She warns Ava to get out of it.

Serena summons Michael to discuss Deception and how they need to step up to keep up. Serena flirts and convinces Michael to take off his shirt. Nina spots them and comes over to chastise Michael for hanging out with another hooker. Serena takes offense and tells Nina that she’s Scott and Lucy’s daughter and the new VP of product development at Deception. Nina doesn’t care and takes off. leaving Michael to accept Serena’s offer.  

Martin has a thumb drive for Drew that’s supposed to hold a computer virus that will wipe out anyone hard drive and wonders why Drew needs it. Drew admits Jack has evidence he embezzled funds and Martin points out that could lead him to federal prison.  

Ava Uses Drew’s Drugs to Roofie Jack!

Ava tells Drew that Jack will be joining her for a drink. Drew says he’s going to shut down the Metro Court security and surveillance so he can get into Brennan’s room. He says she just needs to distract Jack while he searches. Drew has a sleeping pill for her to use to keep Jack busy. Ava is shocked and thinks he’s setting her up but Drew plays on Ava’s fears about Sonny taking Avery away. She takes the pill but says she’ll only use it if she’s forced to do so.  

Ava meets with Jack to talk about Sidwell and how they were involved. She says she wants to be of use to the WSB and that she got many of Sidwell’s art pieces but doesn’t want her name involved with his criminal activities. Jack says Sidwell is low on their priority list so her name shouldn’t come up in connection with him. When he steps away for a phone call Ava puts the drug in Jack’s drink.

That’d be Genie Francis, AKA Cyrus’ half-sister Laura Collins. Kober, who took home a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series in 2022, told the site:

I love to work and I would do anything with Genie. She’s a great actress and a great scene partner. She’s someone who’ll go anywhere you want to go with them.

Kober added:

So, if they bring me back and let me work with her, I wouldn’t mind making the drive over to Prospect Studios.

Sonny’s family joins him and Donna for the barbecue. Ava drops off Avery and Sonny is quick to get rid of her, which upsets Ava. The two have words before she storms off. Ric and Liz arrive and she checks on Dante’s knee. Sonny asks Ric about the engagement ring but Ric says he decided to go slow.  

Gio Confronts Michael About Moving in Willow

Emma and Gio make out in a hidden corner and overhear Brook Lynn tell Michael she’s mad at him about Willow moving into the gatehouse. Michael says Brook Lynn needs to deal with her own marriage as Gio comes out and confronts him. He says no one wants Willow at the gatehouse and doesn’t understand why Michael would move her in.

Michael says it keeps the kids close, even if they’re with their mother and it’s the best solution. Gio asks Brook Lynn about her marriage but she says she and Chase are fine and not to be mad at Michael on her behalf.

Justine Has an Awkward Encounter With Molly At Sonny’s Place on General Hospital

Justine tells Molly she’s going to dinner at Sonny’s, which confuses her. Justine says Donna invited her and didn’t want to disappoint her. She reassures Molly she can handle a meal with Sonny and Donna.

Justine shows up, surprised to see all of Sonny’s family there. She apologizes to Sonny because she thought it would just be the three of them. Sonny says he thought Donna invited her for later, without the family. Justine thanks Donna for the invite but plans to leave when Donna convinces her to stay. Liz and Dante have a moment which Ric sees but doesn’t react to. Liz admits she thought he’d get upset but he’s just happy to spend time with her.  

Scout is upset when Drew says he can’t join her for dinner tonight and pawns her off on the babysitter. Rocco ducks out of Sonny’s party to join Scout at the boathouse. She complains Drew bailed for dinner, then the two spend time together.  

Drew Enlists Ava to Distract Jack

Ava joins Drew and complains about Sonny humiliating her and asks if he has a plan. Drew says he needs her help and explains Jack has something of his he wants back. Ava says she wants nothing to do with the WSB, but Drew says once he’s gotten what he wants from Jack, he can focus on Sonny. He says he’ll break Sonny and Ava will never have to deal with him again. Drew wants Ava to keep Jack busy while he searches the hotel room.  

Ava says she doesn’t know what she would talk to Brennan about, so Drew tells her to talk about seeing something at Wyndemere when she was there with Sidwell. Ava says she’s not making a false statement to the WSB. Drew convinces her that she just needs to keep Jack busy for twenty minutes, so she agrees to have one drink.  

Kai tells Trina about Willow’s threat and how he went to Alexis for advice. Trina is upset but Kai says Alexis will get Willow to back off.  

Chase Insists on Continuing The Investigation Into Jordan’s Accident on General Hospital

Chase meets with Molly to talk about Curtis and how the Ashford family wants to find closure with the accident. He says he wants to help them get it, and the two discuss the accident. Molly says more than 800 cars drive that route every day and there is no evidence a black BMW was on the road at that time.  

Chase brings up Willow but then remembers Brook Lynn telling him that she changed the GPS. He is certain Willow is innocent and is doing everything he can to find who did. Molly says it’s doubtful they’ll ever know who the other driver was, but Chase is determined to find out. Molly says Curtis’ anger caused Isaiah to possibly lose his livelihood and she doesn’t believe he was the other driver. Molly says there is no closure in this case and investigating just keeps picking at the wound.  

Alexis Believes Willow and Drew Are Both Monsters!

Alexis tells Willow that she knows everything, and she wishes she had come forward so Willow would now be in jail. Willow tries to proclaim her innocence, but Alexis reminds her about the traffic cam footage and how the phone records show Wylie called her. Alexis says Drew forced her to represent Willow, so she proclaims Drew to be the bad guy.

Willow says she was out of her mind that night because she’d lost her kids for good. She wants to know what Alexis plans on doing, but she says if Willow does anything to Kai or Trina, she will make sure she loses her children and her political career. Willow says she was bluffing with Kai and she’s only trying to hold onto her kids.

Willow blames Drew, saying he told her what she wanted to hear, encouraging her to end her marriage. She says Drew did everything to keep them apart, but Alexis doesn’t sympathize. Willow takes onus for cheating on Michael but blames Drew for everything else.

Willow brings up her kids again, saying Michael has been holding them over her since Germany. She says Alexis should understand the need to be with her kids since she’s always fought against the Cassadines. Alexis says Willow made her own decisions, but she says she’ll do anything to be in her children’s lives. Alexis asks how she’ll feel when her kids grow up and hear what Willow did to their father and to Drew. Willow says Michael will use this information to poison her kids against her. Alexis says she can call Michael a monster but she’s one too.

Donna is thrilled when Michael shows up for her party, but he tells her the kids couldn’t come. Sonny questions whether Willow is the problem, but Michael denies any issues.  He tells Sonny about installing Jordan as CEO and how she’s managing Drew. Sonny warns him to be careful of Drew because he believes Drew is going to come at him through those he cares about. Alone with Michael, Donna tells him that she also sent an invitation to Justine because she makes daddy smile.  

Josslyn tells Carly she’ll run JJE but Carly’s waiting for the other shoe to drop. Joss says her father needs her help, but Carly disagrees. Carly realizes it has something to do with the WSB.  

Emma Gets Snarky With Josslyn!

Gio updates Emma on the recording session but Trina’s distracted by Curtis’ prison sentence. Gio reassures her that she’ll be able to visit him and spend time with him. Trina is happy for the distraction of singing together.  Josslyn joins them and tells them that she’s taking a leave of absence from the WSB to run JJE.  

Gio wonders why Emma was being snarky towards Josslyn. Emma is upset Joss was able to just leave the WSB whereas Anna can’t. Emma promises to be nicer.

Trina thinks it’s weird Josslyn would give up the job she loves with the WSB to work for JJE. She wonders if Joss can even walk away but she shuts down the WSB questions.  

Jordan Puts Drew on Notice!

Jordan meets with Drew to discuss Aurora, but he questions how she’s doing with Curtis in prison. Jordan has no plans to share her feelings with him. He talks about Aurora and how Michael will be suspicious of him. Drew asks her to give him more consideration than Michael. He says he wants Aurora to profit and wants the opportunity. Jordan warns him that if he tries to put one over on her or Michael, she’ll take a page out of Sidwell’s book.

Carly Gives Felicia The Skinny on Jack on General Hospital

Jack summons Felicia and says he needs her help with Anna. Felicia says anything Anna told her in confidence will not be shared with him. Jack says he would have intervened if he had known what was going on with Anna but Felicia disagrees and storms off.

Felicia stops by to complain to Carly about Jack questioning her about Anna. Felicia wonders why they broke up and Carly tells her Jack recruited Josslyn which surprises Felicia. She says Carly has every right to protect Joss and not trust Jack.

Randomly, Tristan talks to Isiaah about the WSB and says he was never an agent and he’s out now.  

Jack Accuses Nina of Enabling Willow on General Hospital

Nina tells Willow she’s planning a trip with Jack, but Willow warns her not to get involved. She plays the audio of Jack’s words and says she’ll take him down if he comes after her. Willow says she has no power but now has the advantage.  

Nina confronts Jack about threatening Willow, but he says he just reminded Willow they need to work together. Nina says he made a mistake and wants him to get something on Michael for Willow. Jack accuses Nina of enabling Willow which angers her. Carly spots them arguing and sees Nina say she’ll destroy him.    

Kai tells Alexis that Willow is threatening him and how Michael had him sign an affidavit. He says Willow is trying to pin the shooting on him and thinks she tried to kill Drew a second time. Alexis says if Willow tries to pin it on him, she can be charged with perjury and warns him to stay away from Willow.

Alexis storms into Willow’s office and tells Willow she knows she shot Drew and will no longer be silent. She says it’s time for the truth to come out.

Lulu stops by with a housewarming present for Lucas and is surprised to see Joe there. They explain that they both signed the lease, but Lucas got there first. After she leaves, the two discuss Joe staying and they shake on it.

Lulu Advises Ric to Keep Things Simple With Liz

Dante heads to the hospital and Ric watches from around the corner as Liz gets him a wheelchair and takes him for his tests. Liz says he may need an MRI to rule out surgery. Dante asks if she’s spoken to Ric since he saw them together at the house.  

Lulu runs into Ric and says he just has to apologize to Liz for his behavior at her house. She says he needs to use a lighter touch and not ambush her at work. Lulu says women don’t want men to come on too strong and Ric agrees, admitting he almost proposed. Lulu asks if this is the next step for them or if he’s just doing it because he’s scared of losing Liz. Ric says he’s worried he’s going to mess things up and Lulu tells him to keep things simple. Ric calls Liz and sets up a date with her.

Who Is Hudson Calling on General Hospital?

Josslyn claims she wants to honor her father’s wishes, but Hudson questions her change of heart. Joss says she’s changed her mind, but he questions whether she’s planning on running the company into the ground. Joss says she wouldn’t hurt the employees and is taking the position seriously. Joss says the company isn’t her legacy but that if her father believes in her then she’ll do it.  

Josslyn says she’s taking the position but if he doesn’t like it, she’ll start looking for his replacement. Hudson says she has his full support. After Joss leaves, he calls someone to tell them that she’s taking the job but promises to get her to change her mind. (Are we supposed to infer JJE is in the US and not, say, in Australia, where Jax lives???)

Jason Tries to Reassure Carly About Josslyn

Jason reassures Carly that Josslyn’s experience won’t be the same as Anna’s, but Carly reminds him of his own troubles with the WSB. Jason says Carly has to have faith in Joss but can’t help worrying when she sees Anna. Jason says Joss will have her own experiences, and she has Carly to help her through it.

Carly swears she’s not meddling, but Jason calls her on it. He brings up JJE, but Carly says it’s an amazing opportunity and she wouldn’t be in any danger. Jason says she can’t let her fear interfere with her relationship with Joss.

A Shot of Vodka Gives Anna Clarity on General Hospital

Valentin is worried as Anna hyperventilates but “Peter” tells her not to confide in him. Anna says she feels like she’s suffocating and her throat is closing. Valentin says she’s having a panic attack and reassures her that he’s there for her. He takes her to the restaurant and tells her to focus on him.  

After a shot of vodka, Anna can’t believe she lost control and says Carly talking about the WSB reminded her of being trapped with Faison coming for her. Anna promises she now knows Faison is dead, but she never had a moment’s peace all her life since she first met him. Valentin says she’s safe now that Faison is dead, but she says all the bad things that happened at Wyndemere lead back to him. She says she’s not safe and neither are the people she loves.  

Valentin believes she has PTSD and may be came back to work too soon. He thinks she should take more time, but Anna says she can’t let anyone doubt her recovery. She is worried the WSB is monitoring her and doesn’t want anyone questioning her mental state and having her committed again. She promises to get a therapist and avoid the triggers and reassures him.

Previous General Hospital (GH) recap: Josslyn Goes Undercover As JJE’s CEO

Liesl tells Britt she’s been trying to plan a trip to Australia to visit Maxie and James, but Maxie wants her to hold off so James can get familiarized with his new home. She mentions Cassius and how she wants to clear his name and Britt says she’s trying to get answers. Liesl spots Anna but Britt stops her from questioning Anna.  

Britt says Liesl can’t bother Anna because it might make her dredge up Britt’s old legal troubles. Britt says she’s getting the answers her way, but Liesl tells her not to trust Jack or anyone in the WSB.  

Liesl asks about her and Jason and believes they love each other. Britt says things have been good but Liesl texts Jason to meet her. Liesl says she’s throwing a Labor Day party and invites him and he accepts. Anna watches them from across the room and “Peter” reminds her to get rid of anyone who tries to stop from finding peace.

Laura Names Ezra As Her Temporary Replacement

Laura meets with Anna and Justine to let them know she is taking a leave of absence. She says she’s going to Ireland to visit with Kevin and Ace. Anna asks who is going to be in charge while she’s gone, and Laura says it’s going to be Ezra. Neither Justine nor Anna are happy with the choice, but Laura says Ezra helped them take Sidwell down. Laura believes Ezra loves the city and deserves a second chance.  

When Ezra shows up, Laura says she expects him to work with everyone, and he promises to get along. He says he’s looking forward to working with Anna and Justine in bringing down Sonny, which doesn’t sit well with them. Alone with Laura, Ezra promises she doesn’t need to worry. Laura chastises him and says he needs to take the job seriously. He swears she can rely on him and promises he won’t blow it.  

Valentin Approaches Jason About Working at ELQ on General Hospital

Valentin summons Jason to discuss ELQ and him returning in some capacity. Jason says the family wants nothing to do with Valentin, but he says he doesn’t want to be CEO. Valentin says he can buy his way back in, but when Jason tries to leave Carly stops him, and says Valentin is starting his life over.  

Jason says he should be talking to Ned, but Valentin says Ned won’t talk to him and doesn’t think he’s been focused on the company since his heart attack. He swears he doesn’t want to raid the company, just wants to help make more money for them. Jason says the family doesn’t trust him enough, but Carly says the family trusts Jason.  

Valentin says he only wants Jason to see what he brings to the table and knows he has a lot to prove. He says he’s not going anywhere as he’s trying to build a life for him and Charlotte. Carly tells Jason to evaluate what Valentin would bring and then decide. Anna comes across them and joins.

Carly tells Anna how Jax wants Josslyn to be CEO, but she refuses. Carly wants Anna’s perspective, but she says she doesn’t think she can be objective. Carly asks if the WSB is the right life for Josslyn and Anna remembers her time in captivity and gets upset. Anna runs off and Valentin goes after her.  

Tracy Sets Ground Rules For Willow

Tracy wants to set ground rules for Willow, but she wants her to respect her home. Tracy warns her away from Chase, but Willow denies having any interest in him. Tracy says she’ll kick her out and Michael will use whatever he has against her. Tracy warns she will lose her children for good.  

Willow invokes Monica’s name, saying she’s the kid’s great grandmother and wouldn’t want the kids taken from her. Tracy says she believes the kids deserve better than Willow. She threatens Tracy who still tells her to stay away from Chase and follow all of Michael’s rules.  

Previous General Hospital recap: Curtis Begins His Pentonville Bid

Lucas is moving into his apartment when Joe makes his way in. Joe says he signed the lease yesterday, but Lucas says he already did. Joe says he signed with Lucy, while Lucas says he went through the leasing office. Joe calls Lucy and she reports a glitch in the system but notes Lucas signed the lease first. Lucas offers to let him stay until he finds something else.  

Jack tells Josslyn her new assignment is to run her father’s company. She questions why, but he says he’s just the messenger and he’s been kept out of the decision. Joss thinks Carly had something to do with it, but Jack says it came from the higher ups at the bureau. Joss is upset and doesn’t understand why he’s allowing it, but Jack says he has to listen to his own bosses.

Josslyn Goes Undercover at JJE’s CEO on General Hospital

Josslyn says she wants something else, but Jack says the higher ups might want to keep an eye on her as the connections she makes could be good for the WSB. Joss thinks the WSB is targeting JJE and wants to use her as a way in. Joss says Jax is not a criminal, and his company is on the up and up but agrees to do it. Jack tells her that she can’t let anyone know the truth about why she took the job.  

Hudson runs into Brook Lynn and the baby, as he’s meeting with Josslyn. They chat about Phoebe and Brook Lynn explains about the mother’s death and how they fostered than adopted. Tracy interrupts to talk to Brook Lynn about her conversation with Willow.

Josslyn finds Hudson and tells him that she’s taking the CEO position herself.  

Willow Records Brennan!

Jack storms over to Willow’s and tells her to keep up her end of their deal. He is upset she blew off a WSB appropriations committee meeting today and that they have an arrangement. She says she’ll go to the meeting once he gives her something she can use against Michael. He reminds her that he made the traffic video disappear so she could walk away a free woman.

Jack says she owes him and Willow promises she’ll be at the next meeting to ensure the WSB gets its funding. He warns her to keep her end of the deal or else. After he leaves, Willow pulls out her phone which shows that she taped what he said.

Drew Tries to Make Peace With Portia

Drew runs into Ava, but she tells him that she’s meeting Portia and suggests he leave. Drew wants to stay and talk to Portia, but she doesn’t want him messing with her friendship. Drew says he wants to apologize to Portia and make amends. When Portia arrives, he says he regrets how he treated her and wants to start fresh. Portia wonders why the change of heart and he says he knows how horrible he was. She says she doesn’t want a feud with him but wants him to steer clear of her.

Portia wonders why Ava is being nice to Drew and she says they both have Sonny as an enemy. Portia says she can’t trust Drew, but Ava says she needs an ally against Sonny. Portia asks if Ava is willing to keep an eye on Trina and Ava agrees.   

Jordan Considers Bringing Drew Into Aurora on General Hospital

Curtis and Jordan spend his last day having some afternoon delight. Later, Curtis escorts Jordan to Aurora and Michael tells him to reach out if he needs anything while at Pentonville. Jordan gets tearful when it’s time to say goodbye and the two declare their love before he leaves.  

Jordan thanks Michael for giving her the job to help her get through the next two years, as Drew shows up. Drew says he wants to be part of Aurora, but Michael turns him down. Michael says he doesn’t trust Drew, but he tries to get Michael’s sympathy by bad mouthing Willow. Michael says he’s the majority shareholder and wants nothing to do with him, but Jordan steps in and asks him to reconsider. Michael defers to her and she tells Drew she’ll consider bringing him in. After Drew leaves, Jordan tells Michael she’s keeping an eye on Drew.

Rocco tells Laura he’s been hanging out with Scout and is worried Drew will find out. Laura tells him not to defy Drew because he’s very vindictive.  

Laura talks to Lulu about visiting Kevin and wants him back by her side. Lulu mentions how she was duped by “Nathan” and that maybe Dante was the only one for her. Laura asks if she still has feelings for him. Lulu says she had her shot with Dante and thinks that’s it for her.

Charlotte and Danny Lie to Rocco About Blackmailing Drew

Scout summons Danny to the boathouse to hang out but he worries about Drew. Danny gets upset but Scout doesn’t want him to bad mouth her father. Danny apologizes and Scout feels frustrated for being stuck in the middle.  

Charlotte joins Danny while he watches Scout swim and the two discuss what they’re going to do to Drew as Rocco overhears. Rocco says they’re better off just being nice to Drew and blackmailing him would just make him angrier. Charlotte sides with Rocco but alone with Danny she says she was just letting him think she was on his side. Charlotte says she doesn’t want Rocco or Scout to have to lie so she’s keeping them out of it.  

Sonny heads to Pentonville for a visit with Sidwell who complains his lawyers were wrong in telling him to take the plea deal. Sonny says a jury would have convicted him. He brings up how Sidwell’s holdings are being sold at auction and how he’s going to take his piers back. Sonny says he’s planning on going legit, but Sidwell laughs him off. Sonny gloats that he’s on this side of the prison walls.  

Curtis stops by to talk to Trina about everyone getting along while he’s in prison. He sings Trina’s praises and then talks to Desmond. Curtis says goodbye to both his kids and turns himself in to Pentonville.

Ric is angry when he sees Dante with his pants down and Liz touching him. Liz explains Dante is injured but Ric says he should be at the hospital and not in her living room. Ric decides to leave and Dante apologizes to her.  Liz admits Ric is insecure when he has no reason to be. The two share a pizza and Liz remembers Ric’s insecurity was always an issue for them and doesn’t want it getting in the way now. Dante is certain Ric knows a good thing when he has it. 

Isaiah Agrees to Drop The Civil Suit as Curtis Heads to Prison

Portia joins Isaiah at the cabin and the two discuss the verdict and Curtis’ fate. She says she has to focus on the fact that he should be out in two years, for the sake of the children.  Portia just wants them to put all the negativity behind them so Isiaah says he’s going to drop the civil suit. Portia says he’s entitled to that money but he says he’ll make a full recovery and wants to make peace. Portia says she’s fully recovered from the delivery and the two enjoy some afternoon delight.  

Curtis is leaving a meeting and complains to Alexis about the unfairness of his situation.  Alexis says she understands going to prison and he has to be careful not to fall into old traps, like drugs. She says she went to the prison twelve step meetings and did everything she could to keep herself focused. Curtis swears he’ll be a model prisoner and make the best of it.  

Carly Hypocritically Tells Lulu She’s Too Focused on Her Children’s Lives on General Hospital

Valentin and Carly are making out when Lulu lets herself in and asks where Charlotte is.  Lulu says according to the phone tracker Charlotte’s on her way to Rice Island with Danny in the speedboat. Valentin isn’t concerned, saying he trusts Charlotte but Lulu says he’s supposed to be supervising her. Carly jumps in to say Jason knows Danny takes the boat and he’s a careful driver (hey writers, remember about a week ago when Danny ran the boat into the ground and damaged it?)

Lulu says Valentin doesn’t care so long as his date isn’t interrupted and Carly tells her to get a life (Hey Carly, remember about a minute ago when you were/are trying to run your adult daughter’s life?). Carly accuses Lulu of controlling Charlotte but Lulu says she’s trying to parent her daughter. Lulu accuses Carly of judging her, reminding her of how she’s treating Joss. Valentin tells her to start dating or pick up a hobby rather than tracking Charlotte.

Carly accuses Lulu of having nothing in her life except her children. She needs to live her own life because she’s pushing them away. Carly says Lulu has to find something to focus on, other than her kids but Lulu doesn’t want either of their opinions and storms out.

Carly tells Valentin that she knows she has to give Josslyn space to make her own decisions.  He doesn’t think the situation is the same, claiming Charlotte is only spending time with friends while Joss is in a dangerous career.  He says he’ll need Carly in his court when Charlotte becomes Joss’ age.

Ric summons Lulu to complain about Dante being in Liz’s living room with his pants off. He says Liz and Dante are going to get together unless they do something about it. Lulu thinks it’s nothing but Ric says there is a growing connection and they’ll be the ones to lose out.  Lulu tells him to trust Liz but he still worries she’ll have feelings for Dante.  

Josslyn Throws Cold Water on Britt and Jason’s Hot Makeout Session

Jason and Britt head to the pier to make out only to be interrupted by Josslyn who’s not happy to see them kissing.  Joss and Jason share a reunion hug before she starts to complain about Britt.  Joss says Cassius held her hostage for months and Britt knew he wasn’t Nathan but said nothing. Joss accuses Britt of telling Cassius she was WSB but Britt says she was trying to warn him and didn’t think he’d kidnap her.

Josslyn says Britt knew Cassius was doing illegal things for Sidwell and Cullum and she survived because of Cassius and not Britt. Joss points out to Jason that everything he’s been through, being sent to Jakarta is all Britt’s fault.  Jason says everyone makes mistakes but Joss says Britt’s choices were intentional. Joss warns him that Britt will sell him out like she did to her.  

Jason asks for Britt’s side of things and while she admits she told Cassius she swears she never set up Joss to be killed. Jason wonders why she wanted to protect Cassius, but she says he was her brother and Joss was investigating him. Britt says Cassius was trying to protect her but Jason wants to know why she didn’t tell anyone who Cassius really was.  

Britt says she thought she was dying and was going to take that secret with her.  She admits they both did bad things but that Cassius wasn’t cruel and was forced to do Cullum’s bidding. Jason can’t get over that Joss was kidnapped and Britt says if it’s unforgivable she’ll understand. Jason asks her for no more lies and she promises there aren’t any more. They both say they don’t want this to come between them and share a lukewarm hug.  

Tristan Meets Anna on General Hospital

Tristan introduces himself to Anna, telling her that she’s a legend at the WSB and that he’s a former employee. He says he’s now working at the hospital but she questions how being a doctor is different from being a WSB field agent.  He admits it was a long time ago and that medecin is more honest.   He asks if she has any regrets but Anna says she can’t change anything so why think about it. it.  She says she’s prioritizing her family and those that she loves. Joss interrupts and Anna introduces them.

Tristan says he’s heard about Joss as she’s the hero of the Spoon Island operation and that her star is rising in the bureau. He tells her to focus on what went right and what she was able to do. Anna warns Joss never to lose herself, to not find her way back from a mission.

Britt Learns Jason Quit Sonny!

Britt is surprised to see Jason in an ELQ softball jersey and he tells her that he’s not a partner in Corinthos Coffee anymore.  He says he’s no longer working for Sonny and he’s helping out at ELQ.  Bitt questions whether he’s truly out and if he can stay away if Sonny ends up in real trouble. Jason says he needs to get out for Danny’s sake as he needs to come first. He says Sonny won’t ask him to go back on his word but Britt says he might feel the pull to go back.

Britt tells him Cullum forced her to do what he wanted and Jason asks if she believes the story that Cassius was behind it all. She admits she doesn’t know what Cassius was capable of but says her mother wants answers. Britt says she asked Anna for help in looking into it.

Previous General Hospital recap: Willow Enlists Chase to Present a United Quartermaine Front

Gio is discussing the new songs with Trina but she’s distracted by her father going to prison.   He reassures her that she’ll make it through this. She talks about writing lyrics about her feelings and how different it is from what Simon wants them to sing. Gio promises to handle Simon so she can focus on her writing. Emma and Quinn join them briefly. After Quinn leaves, someone is watching them.

Joe and Lucas Both Rent From Lucy on General Hospital

Joe asks Lucy about her statement about Willow and brings up Drew testifying she was home at the time. Lucy says Drew said what he said so Curtis would be in his debt, since that’s what he does. She tells him to go and read the transcript from Willow’s trial. Joe pushes on what time Willow left the estate but Lucy just remembers it was dark and whoever was on the road wasn’t at fault anyway.  

Joe agrees to take the apartment and signs the document.  Lucy has trouble finishing the sale but promises to deal with it back at the office;

Lucas thanks Ava for supporting him during the past few months but he found a new apartment and is moving out. Ava mentions Lucy but he says Liz helped him find it and loves it. Ava tells him to push for month to month in case he needs to get out, then admits she doesn’t want him to leave.

Lucas promises she doesn’t have to worry about him, but Ava says he’s still grieving Marco and doesn’t think he should live on his own. She says it was nice having him live with her but Lucas says it’s time to move on. He is grateful for her support and offers to show her the place. Lucas takes her to the new apartment and Ava gets weepy that he’s moving out. She brings up Ethan and how he ghosted her but was doing the right thing.

Hudson Shows Interest in Phoebe’s Adoption

Josslyn tells Hudson she trusts Michael’s knowledge but he says she’ll need his expertise to help her make a decision. Brook Lynn and Chase interrupt for some water time with Phoebe.  Hudson looks suspicious when Joss congratulates them on the adoption.

Josslyn and Hudson move their meeting to her apartment and he asks about the baby. Joss tells him about the birth mother dying in childbirth. She says the baby’s father was found but he relinquished his rights and asked for a closed adoption.  

Chase and Brook Lynn discuss Willow moving back into the gatehouse and he promises that she and Phoebe are his number one priority.  He’s sorry he gave her a reason to doubt that.  Brook Lynn says they need to steer clear of the mess of Willow and Michael’s relationship.

Sonny Agrees to Secretively Sell Anna Land on General Hospital

Anna and  Sonny discuss Gio and Emma dating and how close they are. Anna asks about Gio moving in with the Quartermaine and Sonny admits he was concerned about Sidwell.  Sonny says he’s focussing more on Corinthos Coffee and she says she knows what it’s like to have family in trouble.

Sonny is concerned for Anna, but she promises she’s fine now, but admits she thought Faison was still alive. Anna says she knows the truth, that she fought her way back to reality. Sonny says he knows what it’s like not to trust your mind and how you believe everyone is your enemy. She says it’s good to be home but knows it’s not over, as there is something she hasn’t told anyone.

Anna admits her time in the hospital made her a little bit claustrophobic and she wants to buy land to be completely free. Anna says she knows he owns land and asks if Sonny would be willing to sell some of it to her. He understands she needs peace of mind but thinks she should be in therapy. He advocates for it and says it makes you stronger and she admits she needs that. Sonny says it’s not good to be alone with your thoughts. Sonny agrees to sell her some land and she asks he tell no one as she wants it to just for her. As she’s leaving “Peter” says she doesn’t need a shrink because she has him.

Oh, it is everything. I still think that our audience loves legacy characters and they relate their personal history to us. I know just bringing up Lucy being a surrogate and not having been able to have her own children and then getting to carry Serena is such a storyline gift and adds dimension to Lucy’s past.<br>

To recap: Lucy served as a surrogate for roguish lawyer Scotty Baldwin (Kin Shriner) and his dying wife, Dominique Stanton (Shell Danielson). Because Dom died so young, Lucy wound up raising little Serena as her own adoptive child; the tot, most memorably played as a kid by Carly Schroeder on both GH and its spin-off, Port Charles, received her name as an homage to Dominique’s beloved home, Serenity.

Meanwhile, Herring confirmed that Serena might just be a chip off the old block with regards to her mom. She added:

I think it’s going to be interesting is how far they push each other, and who’s the more determined and the more ambitious. We teased a little bit about Serena’s past love life and how it’s impacted her and also about her money, and I love that they’ve layered in a lot of things in Serena’s past that could impact Lucy and Serena.

And Lucy isn’t the only family in town that Serena is getting (re)acquainted with. Sure, she has adoptive sister Christina (whom we haven’t seen in years), and dad Scotty is off having fun in Florida, but then there’s also Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), who was revealed to be the long-lost son of Dominique and Mac Scorpio (John J. York).

Brook Lynn Is Unwell With Willow’s Move to The Gatehouse.

Tracy tells Brook Lynn that Willow’s moving back into the gatehouse, which upsets her. She reminds Tracy this is her house and she shouldn’t allow it. Tracy says it’s too late as she already said yes to Michael. Brook Lynn says she and Chase have worked hard on their marriage and is already annoyed about Willow butting in.  

Tracy says Brook Lynn swore to her that her marriage was strong enough to withstand anything. Brook Lynn agrees but says Willow will do everything in her power to get to Chase. She brings up the accident, but Tracy tells her to make sure Chase never finds out.  

Willow Wants Chase to Help Form a United Front Against The Quartermaines on General Hospital

Chase is surprised to see Willow moving back into the gatehouse and she says she agreed so that the kids can have access to both parents. She says it’s the best solution and thinks she and Chase can have a united front against the rest of the Quartermaines. Willow says she’s stronger now and will no longer be a pushover.  

Chase offers to help her unbox all of her things. He can’t believe how she managed to survive without being with her kids. Chase says now that he’s a father, he understands what she went through. Brook Lynn heads to the gatehouse and sees them talking and laughing together.  

Tracy tells Yuri she wants him to keep an eye on Willow and if she’s ever alone with Chase. Yuri tells her Chase was helping Willow unpack all afternoon. 

Previous General Hospital (GH) recap: Sonny Wants to Go Legit

Lucy talks to Serena about Jacinda’s sudden departure and how Michael now needs a shoulder to cry on. Serena says she and Michael are not going to have a romance because she doesn’t want to take advantage of him. Lucy asks for an open mind and not to close the door to romance. Later, Lucy takes Joe to visit a two bedroom rental property.  

Carly Tries to Recruit Hudson and Lucas to Do Her Bidding With Josslyn

Carly summons Hudson to ask about his plans to get Josslyn to take the job at JJE. He says Joss wants to hand the job to someone else and Carly tells him to stall. Hudson says he doesn’t take orders from her, but Carly says Joss is the best person for the job. She says she won’t stop until she gets what she wants.  

Hudson admits he and Josslyn got off on the wrong foot and she doesn’t trust his judgement. He says Joss doesn’t want JJE and he needs someone who does. Carly says Joss is in a dangerous job and wants her to join JJE for her safety. Lucas arrives and overhears Carly trying to sell it to Hudson.  

Carly explains to Lucas who Hudson is and how he’s here to get Josslyn to work for Jax. Carly wants to make it look like all the other candidates are not qualified so Joss feels forced to take the job. Lucas doesn’t think she should meddle in his daughter’s life, but she says Joss’s life is at risk. Lucas says Carly raised a strong-willed daughter who wants to help people and needs to stop controlling her. Carly says that the job is too dangerous, but Lucas says she needs to let it go. Lucas mentions he signed a lease on a two-bedroom place from Lucy.  

Josslyn tells Michael about Jax’s plan to have her work for JJE, but he understands Carly’s point of view. Joss says she loves her job and doesn’t want to give it up to work in an office. She wants Michael’s help in vetting the perfect person for the job and he agrees in exchange for her keeping the peace with Willow.  

Hudson finds her and Josslyn tells him to give the list of candidates to Michael, who promises to look it over and get back to Joss with his opinion. She wonders why Hudson didn’t put his own name on the list. He says he likes his current job and how Jax has faith in her to do the job. Hudson needles her about doing a terrible job, but she doesn’t fall for it and tells him that her focus is with the WSB. Joss says no one is forcing or manipulating her out of it.

I think once Sonny saw that Jason [Steve Burton] was leaving, he felt like, you know what, maybe it's time. We’ve definitely seen Mr. Corinthos try to get out of the life before, and it hasn’t stuck. But Benard can envision Sonny being an important character with lots of agency in other ways. He said:

Well, you know, I think the the most important thing, and I've said it, and there's been a lot of quotes, is I don't care what I'm doing as long as I maintain power. And that power doesn't mean killing people or being a gangster. That power just means power, right? You can be powerful in business; you can be powerful over here. And I think they're doing that.<br><br>

Benard said he couldn’t reveal what storyline is coming, but he called it “amazing.”

Butler isn’t the only sportscaster who’s a fan of Benard and the soap. SportsCenter pundit Stephen A. Smith, a show fan, regularly appears on GH as Sonny’s tech expert, Brick.

Sonny Tells Justine He’s Planning on Going Legit!

Justine tells Sonny that Sidwell’s gone to prison and doesn’t want an “accident” to happen to him. Sonny is shocked Justine thinks so poorly of him and promises he won’t be ending Sidwell’s life.  

Sonny says he’s planning on going completely legit, but she reminds him that his enemies are still going to come after him. Justine says some people will always see him as the mob boss. He questions whether she’ll have a problem being seen with him, the upstanding citizen, in public. Justine admits she has feelings for him, but her office could still investigate him. She says they have to continue to keep it a secret.  

Jason Tells Carly He’s Done With The Business on General Hospital!

Jason tells Carly he’s out of the business. He says he needs to put Danny first and make some changes and she agrees it was the right decision. He says he can’t justify taking all those risks anymore. Jason says he was unfair to push Carly into staying with Sonny and for what it cost her.  

Carly asks what he plans on doing now but he’s not interested in being a mechanic or her head of security. She brings up the Quartermaines and how Ned and Michael would appreciate his input but he’s not sure. He promises this won’t change anything between them and they share a hug.

Molly takes care of Cody’s horse bite. He says the horse seems upset since James left and admits he misses him too. Molly brings up the cancelled book tour and how her publisher wants her to do a meet and greet with fans. She wants Cody to go with her and he agrees.

Michael Convinces Tracy to Let Willow Move in!

Michael tells Tracy about wanting Willow to move back into the gatehouse, but Tracy says no. She doesn’t want Willow moving back in and says Danny’s been using it. He says he has something on Willow and wants her close by. Michael says he wants the kids to have a relationship with their mother, and he can keep track of her on the property.

Tracy brings up Brook Lynn and Chase and how she worries they’ll move out because Willow’s moving in. Michael says they went through a rough patch but are fine now but Tracy says Willow is dangerous and manipulative. Michael says if he sues for full custody Willow will fight back and he may not win. Tracy says it’s her decision, and she won’t let Willow move in. Michael invokes Monica’s name, but she calls him on it.

Tracy says she’s not Monica and has to think of the wellbeing of the entire family. Michael says he’s trying to save his family and needs her help. Tracy finally agrees but says she’d better not regret it.   

Jack and Alexis Agree to Scratch Each Others’ Backs on General Hospital

Alexis wants a visitation agreement with Drew, but he says no. He says he knows what Scout needs, but Alexis brings up Sam, which does not sit well with him. Alexis says Scout needs them, but he says he’s not happy they took care of her for him. Drew says Danny is a bad influence, and they allowed him around Scout. He says they filled her head with lies about him which Alexis denies. Drew says she hates him and Alexis agrees but Scout’s needs are more important.  

Jack happens to be walking by and overhears and interrupts and says Drew shouldn’t be making more enemies. Jack says if Drew has done anything in office that might come back to bite him, he should be more accommodating, but Drew is not scared off.  

After Drew leaves, Alexis asks what Jack has on him. Jack says he might be able to help her in exchange for knowledge of the work she’s done for Jasper Jacks’ Enterprise.  

Scout complains to Rocco that Drew won’t let her see Danny. She says she’s grateful her father is back and recovered but her life was easier when he was locked in. Scout feels badly as soon as she says it, but Rocco understands how she feels. She says she loved living with the Davis coven since it made her feel close to her mother. Rocco tells her to make Drew think she’s following his rules and then do whatever she wants.  

Danny complains to Charlotte that Drew won’t let him see Scout. He says he’s not giving up on seeing his sister again, no matter how much Drew hates him. Charlotte tells him to force Drew to let him see Scout and Danny wonders if he should find something to use against him. Charlotte says they could make something up, but Danny says it would hurt Scout. Charlotte convinces him that they need to save Scout and make Drew look bad.

Curtis Is Found GUILTY of assault and battery!

At the courthouse, Jordan tries to calm a nervous Curtis as Kai and Trina arrive in support. Trina is upset Curtis didn’t call her himself and says this situation is too important for her to miss. The jury finds Curtis guilty of second-degree assault and battery and is sentenced to ten years in prison with parole possible in two years. Martin offers to appeal but says it won’t make a difference.  

Curtis is shocked, SHOCKED I TELL YA!!  He can’t believe the jury didn’t understand Isaiah’s role in the accident (or maybe they did understand that you’re an idiot who accused an innocent man). Curtis is upset Isaiah gets to spend the next 2 years being a better father to his son. Jordan promises he’ll get through it, and everyone will be waiting for him when he gets out.

Trina complains to Kai about the verdict, but he promises to be there for her through everything. After he leaves, someone is watching Trina.  

Marshall and Stella wait at home for Curtis’ jury verdict and discuss how he plans on banning Isaiah from being around the baby. They don’t want Curtis to take Portia to court. Portia gets home, followed by Curtis, who wants time alone with the baby.  

Jordan and Isaiah run into each other and he’s glad it’s all over. She says he got what he wanted but Isaiah says all he wanted was justice.  

Hudson Thinks Josslyn Is an Entitled Princess on General Hospital

Josslyn and Hudson run into each other at the pool and he asks if she looked at the list of job candidates, but she isn’t going to be pressured. He wants her to abide by Jax’ wishes but she says her father just wants her to leave the WSB. Hudson says no one is making decisions right now and things are breaking down.  

Hudson offers to go over the list to tell her who shouldn’t have the job, which she agrees would help narrow it down. Hudson bitches about her being a rich princess not willing to save her father’s company. Joss says Jax taught her never to rush a decision and for Hudson to be patient.  

Previous General Hospital (GH) recap: Portia Admits Curtis Going to Prison Would Benefit Her

Britt and Rocco run into each other at the pool. He complains to her that his parents are smothering him, but she understands their position. Rocco brings up the Huntingtons and she admits she never had it to begin with. Rocco is happy for her, but Britt says she hurt people because of the diagnosis.  

”Peter” Continues Pushing Anna to Eliminate Britt!

Anna spends time with Emma but is distracted by Britt’s presence. Emma tells her the camping trip has been cancelled because of Gio’s busy schedule and worries about their lack of time together. Anna says she doesn’t have to choose between Gio and her vet studies and they can find a compromise.  

Anna says Emma and Gio should just go away for a weekend instead of a full week of camping. Emma mentions wanting to visit Toronto and Anna rattles off a list of things to see (none of which are the infamous CN Tower!! I live here, and I didn’t know we had a Graffiti Alley. I had to look that one up!!)

“Peter” warns Anna to make sure Britt doesn’t get to Emma. Britt apologizes to Anna for screaming at her at the hospital. Anna says she’ll try to find out what happened to Cassius, but she needs to keep it quiet. “Peter” congratulates Anna on how she handled it and tells her to make sure everything is discreet when she eliminates Britt.  

Michael Tells Willow He Has Proof She Shot Drew!

Willow stops by to pick up the kids, but Michael is less helpful than he was before. She reminds him Jacinda drugged her and she’ll take the drug test results to the police. Michael tells her that he has proof she shot Drew.  

Willow calls his bluff, but Michael says he has affidavits from two witnesses who know she shot Drew that night. She doesn’t believe him and asks who the witnesses are and he tells her what he knows. Willow says she was acquitted and can’t be charged again but he says that doesn’t matter in family court.    

Michael says she’ll need to do as he wants otherwise, he’ll turn the affidavits over to the court and she’ll lose everything. The two argue but he has the upper hand and says if she doesn’t do as he wants, she’ll never see the kids. She tries to hit him with a rolling pin, but he stops her.

She says her kids need her and Michael says he’s not cutting her out completely. He is willing to keep the custody agreement the same in exchange for her moving back into the gatehouse so he can keep an eye on her. He says she can’t take the kids to DC or on trips without him and wants her passport. Willow is forced to accept and storms off to call the movers.

Sheree claims she was the main parent who looked after their daughter Brooklyn, 12, and says she was with Burton when he allegedly:

Traveled extensively and spent the majority of his time in New York or Tennessee when he wasn't on set in Los Angeles.

Sheree, who was divorced by Burton in 2023 after she announced her pregnancy and the Emmy-winning actor revealed it was by another man, alleges the two had a custody schedule made. Still, Burton moved from Los Angeles to the Volunteer State (Tennessee) back in February of this year. Sheree maintains she still had their daughter visit Burton. Still, he then claims their agreement wasn’t working for him and headed back to court, also informing her of his plans to move back to California because of the custody dust-up, while she wants to move to Tennessee.

According to Sheree, she has asked the court to allow the move and insists that if their daughter were made to stay in California, she would be with Burton’s new wife, Michelle Lundstrom, and not her. Sheree accuses Burton of being bad at communicating with her and says the messages he’s sent her are full of claims that don’t align with what’s truly going on. Sheree and Burton also share two adult children, Jack, 20, and Makena, 22: she went on to marry Jason Amador, with whom she has two kids.

Willow Goes OFF on Michael

Gio tries to escape but Willow wants him to witness her yelling at Michael. She accuses him of having Jacinda drug her. Michael denies everything but Willow says she got her blood drawn and it will show what she was drugged with. She says the kids will be staying with her and if he tries to fight it, she’ll use the power of her office, and he’ll never see the kids again. She says Jacinda spiked her coffee, which Wylie almost drank.  

Willow says he put the kids’ lives at risk, but Michael says he had nothing to do with it. He tells her to take the kids for the rest of the week and hates the animosity between them. They admit that it’s been hard on the kids and Michael says they need to be better for the kids’ sake.  

Trina tells Kai she’s worried about her father. Kai tells her not to hide her feelings from him. She says she’s scared the jury will find him guilty and Curtis will go to prison. Gio interrupts to tell them about the argument between Michael and Willow.  

Previous General Hospital (GH) recap: Michael Sends Jacinda Packing

Scout is upset with Drew, annoyed he won’t let her spend time with Danny. Drew says he’s not changing his mind and it’s what is best for her. She disagrees, bringing up Sam’s death but Drew says Danny is reckless. Drew says he loves her too much to put her in danger and just wants to protect her. Later, Scout complains to Rocco about her argument with Drew about Danny.   

Portia Admits Curtis Being Found Guilty Would be Better For Her on General Hospital

Jordan tells Curtis about her conversation with Valentin. Curtis brings it all back to the trial and hopes the jury rules in his favor so they can put it all behind them. The two admit they’re feeling anxious waiting for the jury verdict.

Jordan tells him Valentin wants information on Sidwell’s businesses and how she asked for a job as his consultant. Curtis offers her a position at Aurora, but she says she wants to build something on her own. Drew stops by and Curtis thanks him for his testimony.   

Isaiah tells Portia there’s no lasting damage on his hand and things are looking hopeful. He says he just has to focus on physical therapy and will do what it takes to regain mobility. Portia is thankful since she feels responsible for his injury, but Isaiah says Curtis is the only one responsible. Portia says Curtis will always be part of their lives because of the baby, but Isaiah says he can’t do anything from prison.  

Portia says she’s worried Curtis will pressure her and use the baby to try to change the custody agreement. She admits it would be better for her if Curtis will be found guilty but wants what’s best for her kids.  

Rocco tells Sonny that Charlotte is moving in with Valentin because he’ll let her do whatever she wants. He knows it’s upsetting Lulu and blames himself since he and Charlotte aren’t getting along. Sonny reassures him families are there for each other and Charlotte’s issues are not on him. Sonny says Rocco saved two lives by shooting Cullum. Rocco says he wants to give his parents a break from worrying so much, but Sonny says he has to trust himself.

Ric Worries About Sonny Without Jason’s Protection!

Ric stops by to update Sonny on Sidwell’s plea deal and says his assets are on the auction block. Sonny says he’s eyeing some of the holdings and Ric says Drew’s looking into some of them as well. He believes Drew’s motives are legit and is not directly coming after Sonny, but he believes Drew wants what’s his.

Sonny worries Drew has more business savvy. Ric brings up Jason and promises he’ll work with him, but Sonny says Jason quit. Ric doesn’t like the idea of Sonny not having protection, but Sonny says eventually he’s going to get out, as well. He says he’s been transitioning for awhile and wants Ric to be the one to be straight with him. He asks what’s the best way to get everything he wants and for Drew to get nothing.  

Drew meets with Martin to say he’s looking into Sidwell’s holdings, but Martin says Sonny is also interested. Drew says he’s going to do everything he can to stop Sonny. He says with Jason out of the business, he can take Sonny down by getting Sidewell’s assets. Martin reminds him Sonny is dangerous, but Drew says he won’t stop until Sonny is a broken man.   

Willow gets home and Nina tells her about a meeting she missed because Jacinda skipped town. Nina is upset Jacinda will get away with drugging Willow, but she doesn’t care because she says Michael caved to her demands. Nina wants Willow to have a truce with Michael before something bad happens. Willow says she’s only going to let Michael see the kids on her terms.  

Trina and Kai Rat Out Willow on General Hospital

Trina and Kai get to the mansion and ask if Michael drugged Willow and he says he did not. They say they can help him stop her from taking his kids because they know Willow shot Drew because they were there. They explain what they heard the night of the shooting and Michael asks why they’re coming forward now.  

Trina says she doesn’t want Willow to take the kids and is ready to go public and tell everyone she got away with murder. Michael says he has a better way to get them what they want.  

The call comes in that the jury has a verdict.

Nina Tries to Convince Willow That Jacinda is Responsible For Drugging Her

Willow wakes up, confused as to why she’s on the couch and wants to know what happened. Nina asks what she remembers and says Willow was out cold when she got home and Michael was there. Nina says Michael told her Willow was in an altered state and she realizes someone drugged her.  

Nina wonders if it was Drew trying make her look bad. Willow thinks Michael would benefit but Nina doesn’t believe it was him, because she was high when he got there. Both realize Jacinda was the only one they interacted with that afternoon and figure she slipped something in the iced coffee.

Willow is ready to blame both, but Nina still doesn’t think Michael was involved. Willow believes he was and decides she’s going to take the kids away from him for good. She decides to go to the hospital to get her blood drawn and will link the results to Michael. Nina doesn’t think it’s a good idea and suggests a truce. Willow says it’s too late for peace.  

Michael Sends Jacinda Packing on General Hospital

Jacinda tells Michael when Willow served her with the restraining order, she lost it and drugged her but swears she did it when Willow was safe and alone. Michael says she had the kids with her and almost took them out driving while high. He says he found Willow stoned out of her mind and he stayed to make sure she was ok.  

Jacinda swears she never meant anything to happen, but he says something could have happened to the kids. Michael thinks it’s only a matter of time before Willow realizes she was drugged and will suspect Jacinda and blame Michael. Jacinda worries her prints are on the cup, but Michael says he disposed of it.  

Michael says Jacinda has done this before with Drew, so if Willow pushes, it will look like a pattern. She admits she didn’t think things through and has now given Willow ammunition against him. Michael says what Jacinda did is enough for a judge to grant Willow full custody and says they need to end things. He thinks Jacinda should leave town, but she’s upset he’s banishing her. Michael says he needs to prioritize his children, and she agrees to leave but is tearful she didn’t get her happily ever after.  

Michael disagrees saying he was at his lowest point when he met her and he’s grateful she’s been there for him and helped him find himself. She is grateful for how respectful he was to her, and he says he set up some money for her before she heads out.    

Cody Meets His Sister, Serena

Cody congratulates Molly on Sidwell’s prison sentence but she’s disappointed because they were going to trial, but her boss offered him a plea bargain for everything. Molly tells him it also came out Sidwell was responsible for Maxie’s collapse and subsequent coma which upsets Cody. She is disappointed she changed her plans for the trial only to have it be over. 

Serena updates Lucy that she and Michael got along and believes he wants what’s best for Deception. Lucy thinks she got distracted by Michael and they need to stick with the plan, but Serena thinks Michael is a better businessman. Lucy says Michael is a Quartermaine and will side with family first every time. She wants Serena to get the shares from Michael.

Lucy spots Cody and Molly and introduces him to his sister Serena.   

Previous General Hospital (GH) recap: Michael Saves Willow and His Kids From Jacinda’s Drugs

Emma tells Gio about a camping trip she planned for them for next week, before his fall classes start but he says he and Trina start recording a new song in two weeks. She tells him to focus on his music and promises to reschedule. Emma wants to spend time with him today, but he says he has to meet Trina for a rehearsal.

Jordan Learns Valentin Helped Save Her Life on General Hospital

Valentin talks to Jordan about saving her in the accident, which shocks her. He explains how he stopped and helped Curtis pull her to safety before the car exploded. Valentin says Curtis didn’t tell her because he was protecting him. Jordan realizes she could have died were it not for Valentin’s help.

Valentin wants a favor in exchange and mentions Sidwell’s plea deal and how all his holdings are on the auction block. He says he wants Wyndemere and wants whatever information she got while working for Sidwell. Jordan asks what he’s interested in, and he says he has no interest in the illegal holdings. Jordan gives him a couple of tips and then says he’ll need to pay her for more information.  

Jack Keeps Josslyn From Her Next WSB Assignment

Josslyn tells Jack she’s ready to get back in the field and wants to know what her next assignment is. Jack says she might be fit physically but doesn’t think she’s ready yet mentally. Joss offers to take a psych test but doesn’t think it’s necessary. Jack says she killed Cullum and watched Cassius die but Joss says it’s part of the job. She says she has her regrets but that she did everything Jack asked her to. He says she needs to deal with the mental repercussions; it could get her killed and he doesn’t want that.  

Josslyn thinks he’s being too cautious, but he brings up Anna and how the bureau needs her to sit out a little longer. Joss says maybe she’ll take up her father’s offer to run the family company. Jack is confused why Jax would give her his company despite not having any business experience and she figures it’s because he’s trying to get her out of the WSB. Jack offers to look into it in case there’s something bigger going on.  

Nina summons Jack and asks for his help in stopping Willow’s war against Michael.  

Gio gets home and finds Michael upset as Willow shows up and declares she’s taking full custody of the kids immediately.

Michael Saves Willow and His Kids From Jacinda’s Drugging

Jacinda admits she slipped Willow something in her drink, which will make her super happy. Michael gets upset but she says Willow will be fine, but he worries if she starts driving.  

Michael heads to Nina’s where he finds Willow dancing and being silly with the kids. He puts the kids to bed and insists she drink water and says he thinks she’s high and tells her to lie down. Jacinda checks in and Michael tells her that he was able to stop Willow before she left with the kids.  

Josslyn Puts Carly on Notice on General Hospital

Josslyn storms in, demanding to know how far Carly would go to get her out of the WSB. Carly admits she told Jax and Joss tells her Jax left the company for her to run, without asking her. Joss says she can’t reach her father and doesn’t want to be responsible for the company. She asks if this was Carly’s idea, who denies it.  

Josslyn says the VP of operations is going to get her a list of viable candidates to replace her, but Valentin says she has to be careful who is chosen. He says there are shareholders and employees, and she must consider their welfare. Carly tells her to take the option seriously.

Valentin offers to help by checking out the names, but Josslyn says she doesn’t trust him and will talk to Michael. She says she’s not leaving the bureau and Carly needs to accept it if she wants a relationship with her.  

Drew Insists Jason Control Danny!

Drew finds Scout and Danny having fun by the pool, but he warns Danny to back off. Drew says Danny has proven he’s not a safe person for Scout to be around as Jason arrives. Jason tells Danny to leave so he can talk to Drew alone.  

Drew tells Jason his wishes for Scout were not followed. He also believes Danny is dangerous and Jason needs to rectify the situation. Jason says he stopped working for Sonny, so his job is no longer a threat to his loved ones. Drew doesn’t believe it and says again Danny needs to stay away from Scout. Jason says it’s not what Scout wants but Drew says he’s keeping her safe. Drew doesn’t believe Jason can escape his past, which make Danny dangerous by association, and won’t let them near Scout.  

Previous General Hospital (GH) recap: Are Ava and Drew Connecting?

Lulu tells Laura she’s going to have to let Charlotte live with Valentin and Laura thinks she’s doing the right thing. Charlotte and Rocco join them, and Lulu says Charlotte can live with Valentin which makes her happy. Rocco gets angry saying she’s hurting Lulu by being selfish. Rocco storms off and Laura goes after him.  

Laura thinks Rocco is angry because Charlotte is leaving him. He says she’s closer to Danny and feels like he’s lost her friendship. Laura is certain Charlotte would be there for him if he needed her.  

Lulu says she understands Charlotte’s need to live with Valentin and promises to see her anytime she wants. Charlotte leaves to talk to Danny and Laura tells Lulu that Rocco doesn’t want to hurt her and misses his sister. Lulu hopes she can get Rocco to confide in her again.

Rocco finds Scout crying by the pool and she tells him Drew doesn’t want her to see Danny. She is happy Drew got better but also wants to live her own life.

“Peter” Pushes Anna to Make Britt Indebted to Her on General Hospital

Felicia and Anna get caught up and “Peter” wants her to get information on Britt in order to protect her family, including Felicia. Anna runs into Britt, who says she needs her help with the WSB. Britt says Liesl wants to know what happened to Cassius and maybe Anna can figure it out. “Peter” hangs out telling Anna this is her chance to get Britt.

Anna says the WSB won’t share that with her, but Britt wants closure for Liesl. Anna says she can’t help but Britt grabs her arm and says she’s supposed to be one of the good guys. Anna says Britt let her mother believe she was dead and Felicia breaks up the argument.

Britt storms off and Felicia says she was out of line but she’s greiving Cassius. “Peter” gets Anna to ask how Britt is doing. Felicia says she managed to get Britt a sublet while one of the doctor’s is on sabbatical. “Peter” tells Anna to go back to Britt and offer her assistance, so Britt feels she owes her.  

Britt runs into Tristan and thinks he’s going to report her for fighting with Anna because he’s a WSB agent. Tristan says he got out and promises Britt she can rebuild her life.  

Gio and Trina join Chase and Brook Lynn for lunch and discuss their new song. Brook Lynn asks about her parents, and Trina says it’s a mess and she wishes the accident had never happened. She says she has to move on, even if Curtis doesn’t. Chase thinks maybe he should look into the accident again and perhaps find the other driver.

Needless to say, Sonny’s cop son Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) was pretty happy to hear that his old man was leaving the illegal life behind. But what could Sonny get up to next? Unclear, but tune in to General Hospital to find out!

Asked if something could be “brewing” between a recently-SORAS-ed Scout and Rocco, Carr replied with a grin:

That's an interesting question; there is a lot... Kayden is great to work with. I love working with her, and there is definitely some great stuff coming up that people are going to want to watch.

And what about Danny’s love life? Danny did share a kiss with his cousin Charlotte (Bluesy Burke), but romance may not exactly in the cards. Antonyzyn explained:

Danny and Charlotte, it was actually written in one of my scripts is very like, you know, Carly [Laura Wright]-Jason [Steve Burton], just... they have so much love for each other that if they were to do anything, it would just feel wrong because of how much they care for the other.

What else is coming up? Carr teased that Rocco does “a lot,” while Antonyzyn hinted Danny may get into some trouble.

Curtis and Isaiah Have Very Different Takes on The Trial

Curtis insists he’s going to stop by to see his son and wants Isaiah to make himself scarce. Marshall steps in before things get volatile. Jordan says she won’t be joining him at the house because it doesn’t feel right. He says she’s part of the baby’s life, but she reassures him today is not the day.    

Lucas updates Liz on the trial. Isaiah gets back and complains to them about Curtis letting Martin rip into Portia on the stand. Isaiah says he got upset and feels like he blew it. He still believes he’ll be a better father to Desmond when Curtis is convicted. He says things will only get worse if Curtis is acquitted.  

Portia gets home and complains to Stella about Curtis and believes they won’t be able to get past this situation. Stella says they need to put their differences aside for the sake of the baby. Curtis gets there and spends time with his son. He apologizes to Portia for embarrassing her during the trial.  

Marshall apologizes to Portia for not being in court because it’s too hard to watch his family at each other’s throats. He is praying they all get through it.  

Stella tells Curtis when he’s acquitted the healing can start and both sides can learn to tolerate each other. Curtis says Isaiah won’t be allowed anywhere near his son.  

Molly and Jordan run into each other and have an awkward moment. She apologizes for not holding back on Curtis but Jordan thanks Molly for not pushing harder when she was on the stand. Molly says she wanted to try her case honorably.  

Jordan and Anna Reunite on General Hospital

Anna seeks out Joe to discuss the trial, and he realizes she’s trying to figure out what kind of detective he is. Joe says he’s adjusting to Port Charles, and she asks about partnering with Cassius. Anna says Cassius betrayed them all. Joe sings Dante’s praises while she was gone and Anna welcomes him to the department.  

Jordan runs into Anna and the two have a reunion. Jordan talks about putting things behind her and moving forward with Curtis.  

Are Ava and Drew Connecting?

Ava invites Drew out for a drink, while Hudson watches from afar. Drew tells her that he testified on Curtis’ behalf because he’s changed. Ava brings up Sonny and he agrees he regrets not being able to get rid of him. Ava says they have peace for Avery’s sake but complains about Sonny threatening her.

Drew commiserates and says he would destroy anyone who would try to keep him from Scout and so should she. Drew complains Scout spent her time with Alexis, but Ava defends her. Ava admits she’s worried Avery will be made to hate her. Drew says Scout will now be staying with Willow, and Ava wishes she had that kind of control. She decides she’s going to have allies go up against Sonny and asks if Drew would be willing to help.  

Jacks Appoints Josslyn Head of His Empire on General Hospital

Josslyn meets with Hudson, who tells her that he’s Vice President of operations for Jasper Jacks Enterprises and tells her that she’s the new CEO. Joss says she’s not running the company, but he insists Jax named her his successor. Joss wants to call her father, but Hudson says he’s traveling the globe and is unreachable.  

Josslyn says she knows nothing about Jax’ company and wants nothing to do with it. She tells him to fix this situation. Hudson asks what she’s doing that’s so important she can’t take up the reins and Joss tells him that she’s a WSB agent. Hudson is angry she’s not jumping at the chance to be the head of a billion-dollar company and thinks he wasted his time. Joss accuses him of blindsiding her and tells him to get her a list of everyone qualified for the job.

Jacinda shows Michael the restraining order, but he’s determined to fix the issue. She complains Willow’s past isn’t spotless either, but he says she holds all the cards. Jacinda believes things are going to change and not in Willow’s favor. Michael questions her, but Jacinda says the less he knows, the better.

Willow leaves the spiked drink on the coffee table and Wylie almost takes a drink of it before she stops him. Willow drinks from it instead and then decides to drive the kids to the arcade.

Curtis’ Trial Continues…

Portia refuses to answer Martin’s question of how long she was sleeping with Isaiah before Curtis assaulted him. She says she’s here because she witnessed a crime, but the judge tells her to answer the questions or be held in contempt.  

Portia testifies she started seeing Isaiah when she was estranged from Curtis. Martin gets Portia to admit Isaiah provoked Curtis by saying he’d be a better father. Molly redirects, and Portia testifies that Curtis had moved on with Jordan. Portia testifies Isaiah never threatened or was aggressive towards Curtis, who threw the punch. 

Drew is called to the stand, and Molly asks if Willow was driving that night, but he says she was with him the whole night. Martin asks and Drew says he blinked twice for no, but Joe must have misunderstood his signs.  

Isaiah takes the stand and Molly asks about the injury and how he can’t perform surgery. He admits he doesn’t know if or when he’ll be able to operate again. Martin asks if Isaiah was on that road that night and asks why he hasn’t told anyone the name of the patient he says he was seeing. Isaiah brings up patient privacy.  

Martin asks if Isaiah drives a car like the one that caused that accident, but Molly objects, saying everyone agrees Jordan caused the accident. Martin asks about Isaiah’s car and the repairs he had done and asks if he deliberately provoked Curtis, but he denies it.  

Jordan takes the stand and Martin asks about Isaiah’s visit to her in the hospital. She thinks maybe he felt guilty since he did nothing to help them. Molly questions whether she and Isaiah were friends and Jordan says it’s possible he was visiting her out of concern.  

Curtis takes the stand and testifies that Isaiah was on the road, drives the same type of car and doesn’t have an alibi, which proves it was him. Martin asks why Curtis punched him that night and he says Isaiah is trying to push him out of his family. Molly has Curtis testify that Isaiah wasn’t aggressive and didn’t throw a punch.

Previous General Hospital (GH) recap: Lucy Enlists Serena to Charm Michael Out of His Deception Shares

Jack and Serena introduce themselves and make small talk. Serena plants herself in Michael’s chair and introduces herself to him. She says Lucy was upset over what happened with Deception, so she came home. Michael admits the Quartermaine’s own the majority but he’s doing a favor for Maxie. She says she’ll be working at Deception with Lucy which is fine with him.  

Ezra Gives Jacinda Drugs on General Hospital

Jacinda reaches out to Ezra for some pills, which surprises him. He wonders why she’s turning to drugs now and she shows him a restraining order from Willow to stay away from the kids. Ezra offers to be with her when she takes them, but she promises she’ll be fine.  

Lucy tells Laura that Serena is in town and wants to know when Kevin will be back. Laura says Kevin is staying on at the university for the fall semester, but she’ll be visiting him soon. Lucy knows how hard long-distance relationships are and offers to listen if Laura needs to talk.

Ezra joins Laura who wonders why he was talking to Jacinda and reminds him who she’s dating. Ezra says he has Jacinda’s back.

Jack meets with Laura, and says he’s looking for common ground between the WSB and the mayor’s office. She wants to know why Sidwell is still in Port Charles. Jack says it’s PC’s jurisdiction and their DAs office. He offers to have her back if she thinks Sidwell is still a danger.

Sonny Blames Dante For Jason Quitting

Sonny tells Dante that Jason quit because he’s making changes. Sonny blames Dante for arresting Jason in front of Danny but Dante defends himself. Sonny says something inside Jason broke while he was in Jakarta and Dante says he’s worried for Sonny. Dante asks who’s going to take Jason’s job and protect Sonny.  

Jason tells Tracy he quit working for Sonny. He says it’s because of Danny and is grateful for everything the Quartermaines have done for him, but he needs to be a better father. Tracy points out that what he wants for Danny is what Alan and Monica wanted for him.  

Tracy says his parents wanted him out of Sonny’s business from day one, and Jason says he wishes he could apologize for the worry he caused them. Tracy says they would be happy and grateful if they were here.  

Willow confronts Nina about confiding in Jack, but Nina defends her actions. She points out to Willow that forcing Anna to review Drew’s shooting puts her in the crosshairs as well. Willow doesn’t care but Nina says if anyone finds out about the video footage, Jack will go down with her.  

Whose Drink Did Jacinda Drug on General Hospital

Nina believes Willow is being reckless, but she says she’s being strategic. Nina says being a councilwoman has gone to Willow’s head and made her overconfident. Willow says he can’t back down from Michael and won’t squander this opportunity. Nina is shocked to hear Willow served Jacinda with a restraining order.

Jacinda stops by Nina’s where she has words with Willow. When both women leave the room, Jacinda spots the drinks for them and pulls out her baggie of drugs. She puts it in one of the drinks.

Sonny wants to know what Ava did to drive Ethan out of town, but she denies any involvement. Ava says Ethan called from a burner phone and said he wasn’t coming back. She says maybe Sonny sent Ethan running and wonders if he asked Ethan to kill Drew, but he denies it. Sonny warns Ava not to push him because there are consequences and not to forget it.  

Tracy Convinces Brook Lynn to Continue Hiding The Truth

Tracy congratulates Brook Lynn on Phoebe’s adoption. She wants them to go to Manhattan, but Brook Lynn says she knows Tracy’s just doing it to get her out of town before Curtis’ trial. Brook Lynn feels guilty that her keeping quiet is what started all the fighting between Curtis and Isaiah. Tracy is worried Brook Lynn’s guilty conscience will ruin her life.  

Brook Lynn worries she waited too long to say anything, and Chase won’t trust her again if he finds out. Tracy tells her to learn from the experience and move on with her life. She tells her not to jeopardize her new family, and Brook Lynn agrees she needs to protect them. She decides Chase can never know what she did.  

Lucy Enlists Serena to Charm Michael Out of His Deception Shares on General Hospital

Lucy wants Serena to charm Michael to try and get the shares back from him. After Serena leaves, Lucy summons Felicia and admits she’s using her to get Maxie’s shares away from Michael. She is having second thoughts, but Felicia says Serena just wants to help her mother.  

Willow and Wylie run into Michael and Jacinda at the pool. Willow tells Jacinda about the divorce and wants her to keep her distance from the kids.  

Jack seeks out Willow and tells her about Nina’s concerns in reopening the shooting case. He says it’s a bad idea, but Willow says all the evidence points to Michael. Jack says Anna might find the video cam footage of her, but Willow doesn’t care.  

Serena gets to the pool, but when she heads towards Michael, she slips and falls into Jack’s lap.

Curtis’ Trial Begins

At the courthouse, Martin wants to make a deal with Molly and brings up six months community service for Curtis. He doesn’t want them to tear the Ashford family apart.  

Curtis and Isaiah argue in the hallway until Lucas shows up and intervenes. Once inside, Isaiah tells Molly there was almost a fight, and she warns him to restrain himself or he’ll lose the case.  

Jordan tells Portia she needs to testify that things got out of control and says everything is in her hands. Portia puts the blame on Curtis’ shoulders and says she won’t say anything otherwise.  

Molly’s opening tells the jury Curtis punched Isaiah and they should find him guilty. Martin’s opening focuses on the car accident and how Isaiah drove away from the crash and says Curtis was provoked.  

Lucas testifies about Isaiah’s broken hand and how Curtis attacked him. Joe testifies how he heard Curtis say he punched Isaiah because he deserved it. Martin pushes saying Joe jumped the gun on arresting Curtis and should instead have deescalated the situation.  

Portia is called to the stand and testifies how the two men had words before Curtis punched him. She testifies the injuries have made it so Isaiah can’t perform specific surgeries.  

Martin asks Portia how long she was married to Curtis before she started sleeping with Isaiah.

This comes a year after McKenna announced on the social media platform formerly known as Twitter that he was placed on contract status. He took over the role from Charles Mesure, who originated the role in 2023 and played the character on and off until 2025.

McKenna is best known for his role as Joey Buchanan on One Life to Live from 1990-1993 along with stints on The Young and the Restless from 2014-2015 as Det. Mark Harding, State of Affairs, and Good Trouble.

In this supersized episode Luke and Melodie reflect on Jamey’s 20 year arc, first appearing on the podcast as the “soap historian” and how his Wishful Castings on the podcast and blog were inspired by his creativity, knowledge and love for the genre. The two talk about how his pursuing his writing career with creating Ambitions, being apart of the writing teams at Days of Our Lives and Beyond the Gates has culminated in Giddens becoming the first black male-co head writer in soap opera history. 

The two delve into the many things that need to be fixed in Genoa City from the the core families (Abbotts, Newmans, Chancelor/Winters) to undoing Griffith’s legacy of destruction. The two share what they are looking forward to most about Jamey and Dan taking over, while at the same time discussing the reality of what co-head writers can actually control on a soap opera. 

After the hour long Y&R discussion, the duo delve into The Bold and the Beautiful. Melodie is loving the drama unfolding on B&B. Luke and Melodie degate whether Brad Bell should bring Amber Moore back and how she could be reintroduced since she has connections to so many characters. 

Luke is estatic over Alison Sweeney and Christie Clark returning to Days of Our Lives. But these two TV sisters aren’t the only ones returning, so are Chandler Massey and Bryan Dattilo. Melodie grudgingly admits Luke was right about Lexie’s return from the very beginning. 

General Hospital recast the character of Ethan only to immediately ship the character out of Port Charles. 

Hayley is being written into a corner on Beyond the Gates and there aren’t many ways for the writers to get her out of the aspiring black widow character. Could Hayley end up working for Vanessa once her dastardly deeds are discovered?

Michael Sides With Josslyn About Remaining in The WSB

Josslyn tells Michael she joined the WSB and he surprises her by congratulating her. Carly says Joss is an undercover field agent and she apologizes for lying. Carly doesn’t understand why Michael is ok with it and wants him to talk Joss out of it, but he refuses. Michael asks questions and Joss says it’s fulfilling work, and he tells Carly to support her daughter.

Carly says she’ll never accept it and Josslyn tells Michael about being shot, which he didn’t know about. Michael feels badly he was distracted and not there for Joss. Carly mentions Drew being out, but Michael says they’re getting divorced which makes things worse. Michael says he’s going up against Willow again and this time she has her political connections to help her. He says there’s nothing he can do to stop her.  

Drew’s Willingness to Help Makes Curtis Suspicious on General Hospital

Martin tells Curtis that Drew has come forward to help his case. Curtis is not interested since Drew blackmailed Portia and went after Stella. Drew says he’s truly sorry, he has regrets from hurting people before his stroke. He is trying to make amends and promises to help by testifying for him. Martin explains how the PCPD tried to pin the accident on Willow based on Drew’s answer to Joe. He says he’ll say Willow was at home at the time to help Curtis.  

Curtis doesn’t want to trust Drew, but Martin says the prosecution will put him on the stand either way. Curtis still doesn’t believe Drew and wonders what it will cost him. Drew says he wants nothing from him in return.  

Ethan Warns Ava to Keep Quiet

Ava takes Trina out to celebrate her graduation and offers her a partnership in the gallery. Trina turns her down, saying she was offered a recording contract. Ava is happy for her and calls her a shining star. Trina asks for part-time hours and Ava agrees. Trina asks about Ethan, but Ava says he just ghosted her.

In Norway, Hudson forces his way into Ethan’s room. Ethan punches him but Hudson gets the best of him. He asks about Delilah and Ethan says she and the baby died in childbirth. Hudson blames Ethan for putting ideas in Delilah’s head which caused her to run away. Hudson beats up Ethan again and puts a listening device where Ethan can’t see it.

Ethan calls Ava and says he needs to talk to her about the baby as Hudson’s eavesdropping. Ethan tells her if someone comes looking for the information to keep her mouth shut.   

Liesl Warns Willow Not to Mess With Nina on General Hospital

Liesl and Nina celebrate Willow’s divorce from Drew. Liesl worries Drew will drag the proceedings, but Willow isn’t worried. She questions why he would want a divorce immediately after his recovery. Nina tells Liesl to let Willow move on and she says she’s keeping her seat in congress until the next election.  

Willow says she’s looking for a place to live, and Nina is surprised to hear her say she may have the kids full time. Willow says she hasn’t gotten Michael to agree to that yet but thinks he won’t have a say in the matter, which confuses Liesl and Nina. Willow says she’s going to be meeting with Anna to discuss all the mismanagement while she was away, including her trial.  

Willow says Drew’s shooter was never caught and needs to be brought to justice and believes that person to be Michael. She says Dante was protecting Michael, but Liesl reminds her Anna was the one to arrest her in the first place. Willow says she was exonerated and can’t be tried again. She says she’ll make sure Anna understands it’s in the best interest of her federal funding to reopen the investigation.  

Willow believes Michael is waiting for a moment to take the kids, and she needs to strike first but Nina doesn’t think reopening Drew’s shooting is a good idea. Nina pointedly says Anna could find evidence pointing to someone other than Michael. Liesl says Anna won’t accept political pressure, but Willow doesn’t care. Liesl warns her again not to get on Anna’s bad side. Willow says she’s going to secure her future with her kids.  

When Nina leaves the room, Liesl warns Willow to leave her mother out of whatever nonsense she’s up to. Willow says she doesn’t want to hurt Nina but just wants her children, which is all that matters to her.  

Nina calls Jack to tell him Willow wants to reopen the investigation into Drew’s shooting and needs his advice, as Trina overhears.  

Alexis has the papers for Brook Lynn and Chase to sign to officially adopt Phoebe. She reminds them it’s a closed and private adoption and no one will find out who the birth father is. The papers are signed; Phoebe is officially theirs and now they need to show the judge the adoption papers. Brook Lynn and Chase continue to worry but Alexis says the father signed over his rights and nothing bad will happen.

Ric approaches Liz and Dante and talks baseball smack before he makes a date to see Liz later and leaves. Dante tells Liz that Anna was looking into Cullum’s shooting and the missing evidence and how she didn’t ask for details. He is glad Liz won’t have any repercussions, but she says it was her choice to protect Rocco.

Dante’s not sure he did the right thing, considering how it played out but she reassures him that he did. He is grateful he can talk to her because she’s always told him the truth. Ric comes back and watches them from afar.

Jason Quits Sonny on General Hospital

Jason insists he needs to be out for good, but Sonny wants more of an explanation. Jason mentions the day he was taken away because he had Cullum in his sights earlier in the day and didn’t kill him. Jason explains to Sonny what happened that night including Danny’s tearful reaction to him being dragged away by the WSB.

Jason says something broke inside him, and he promised himself he would do better, because he can’t mess up again. He says he has to make Danny his priority and can’t kill for Sonny again. He does not want Danny to follow in his footsteps. Sonny tells him Danny came to him but turned him down. Jason says it’s his last chance to be a true father to Danny and he’s out.  

Jason thanks Sonny for giving him a place and a brotherhood and how grateful he is. He asks for Sonny’s blessing. Sonny says Jason has been a brother to him, and nothing will change and the two share a hug.  

Valentin Notices Something Is Off With Anna

Valentin and Carly offer to have Anna join them. He tells her that his assets have been unfrozen which upsets Anna. She asks what he gave the WSB in order for them to unfreeze his assets. He reassures her that he had something in exchange and that it was completely above board. Anna says the WSB never lets you go but Carly says Valentin has gotten out and is certain Josslyn will, as well. Anna thinks it’s too late for Josslyn and says she’s known since last summer.  

Anna swears she did everything she could to protect Josslyn from the sidelines which is why she sent Jason to help. Carly says it’s hard to accept Anna knew before she did. Anna says she told Brennan to come clean, but he refused. Anna says she would have done everything in her power to stop Joss from joining up. Carly thanks her for everything she did to protect her daughter but is certain she can walk away if need be. After Anna leaves, Valentin thinks there’s something wrong with her.  

Previous General Hospital (GH) recap: Brook Lynn Obliterates Drew

Josslyn (in a skimpy outfit that shows her abdomen that had a gunshot wound, literally a month ago, that has healed to the point where there isn’t even a scar. I mean, show, the least you can do is pretend), is out jogging and turns down Trina’s invitation to hangout with the others. While jogging, she remembers getting shot. 

Simon Freaks Out When Realizing Trina Has a Boyfriend on General Hospital

Simon praises Brook Lynn and says he has big plans for Gio and Trina. He asks about Trina and Brook Lynn says she’s dealing with family issues.   

Trina tells the others she’s’ not sure if she’s going to her father’s trial. Brook Lynn calls to remind Gio he and Trina are supposed to be meeting with Simon. Kai tags along which does not sit well with Simon when he gets there.

Simon drags Brook Lynn away to complain he should have been told Gio and Trina were not an item. He says they’re branding them as young and in love and she has to get them on board. Brook Lynn explains to Gio and Trina they’ve been promoted as a couple. She says they need to give Simon time to change the rebrand. Whoever has the Trina vision board, deletes Kai from her social media pictures.  

Valentin Warns Nina to Stay Away From Jack

Nina wants to have lunch with Jack, but he says he’s too busy with work to join her. He says he’s learned from his relationship with Carly and wants them to be honest with each other. She tells him not to compare her to Carly and the two share a kiss, which Josslyn interrupts.

Nina is surprised to see Josslyn, even more so when Jack explains she works for the WSB.  After Nina leaves, Joss warns him that he’s making himself vulnerable to a liability. Joss badmouths Nina, telling him about Nixon Falls but he doesn’t want to hear it.    

Valentin spots Nina and thanks her, saying it was because of her Jack was willing to deal with him and help return his assets. He warns her against continuing to see Jack. He says Jack is only interested in Nina because she’s his ex-wife, which angers her and she storms off.  

Anna gets home and talks about Josslyn and the WSB with Emma, who is just happy her grandmother is home. After Emma steps out, “Peter” says Anna has to protect her. She believes Valentin will help her, but “Peter” says he’s moved on and Britt will use Emma to get to her. Anna says she can’t let that happen and “Peter” says she’s the only one who can stop Britt.

Britt and Tristan Continue to Bicker

Jason questions Britt about Tristan and tells her that he was with him on the plane back from Jakarta. Britt thinks he was placed here to spy on her and she’ll pay for being Faison’s daughter forever. Jason warns her to keep an eye on Tristan until they know more. He asks her on a date, but she says she has to play on the hospital softball team.  

Britt corners Tristan and tells him that she knows he was sent here to get her to work for the WSB again, but it will never happen. She says she’ll tell the board about him and they’ll fire him. Tristan says he’s not an agent, so the board won’t fire him. He says he’s worked for a WSB medical facility and tells her to get her facts straight. Tristan says he was hired as a cardiologist, and his job has nothing to do with her.  

Jason Refuses Sonny’s Offer on General Hospital

Ric meets with Sonny and tells him Sidwell’s assets are frozen and will go up for auction. Sonny wants his piers back and Ric warns him to get them discreetly so as not to raise suspicion. Sonny summons Jason and tells them to make peace with each other. Ric agrees to put their past behind him, and offers his hand and Jason shakes it.

After Ric leaves, Sonny pushes again for Jason to work with Ric, but he says he can’t work for Sonny anymore.  

Lucas and Joe Notice Sparks Between Dante and Elizabeth

It is that time of year again for the annual softball games. Dante is curious how good of a player Joe is. Lucas and Liz wonder where their equipment is. Liz and Dante get flirty and after they head off together, Joe asks Lucas how long they’ve been together.  

Lucas says Liz is with someone else but now that he thinks about it Dante is better for her than Ric. Joe and Lucas discuss how they’re both looking for a place to live.  

Dante tries to teach Liz how to play catch as they talk about their kids. Dante tells her Rocco and Danny are still at odds. The two are ridiculously cute and flirty as Ric comes by and sees them together.  

“Peter” Tries to Convince Anna to Take Out Britt on General Hospital

Anna tells “Peter” she’s not a murderer, but he tells her again her loved ones will not be safe while a Faison lives. She says Britt won’t hurt her and wants to see Valentin. “Peter” says she can’t trust him, but Anna disagrees. Emma arrives and the two discuss Maxie moving to Australia.  

Emma brings up Josslyn being a WSB agent and says she wishes Anna would have been the one to tell her. Anna apologizes and says she would have said something if needed because family comes before the WSB. She promises she’s going to put it all behind her.  

Valentin tells Carly the WSB came through and got him his assets back. He says he wants to get Wyndemere back for Charlotte. Carly says the island creeps her out and she won’t be staying there with him. Valentin does wonder what was inside the box that both Jack and Nina wanted so desperately. Anna heads to the Metro Court where she sees Valentin and Carly making out.  

Lulu Covers For Ethan!

At the pool, Ethan spots the unknown man and takes off. Ava is surprised to see Drew at the poolside. When he takes a seat, she tells him he’ll have to move when Ethan returns, which the unknown man overhears. Drew says he’s looking for Nina and then wonders how much Ava knows about what they did.  

Ava mentions Scout and Drew doesn’t like how his divorce will mess up her life more than it has been. Ava is surprised by the divorce, and doesn’t understand where Ethan disappeared to.  

Lulu gets home and finds Ethan, packed and leaving. She asks if he’s in trouble, but he says an opportunity came up and he has to take advantage while he can. Lulu says he can’t just quit working for Sonny and offers to cover for him. The stranger from the pool calls trying to find out if Ethan is living there, but she tells him that he’s left the country.  

Brook Lynn Lights Into Drew on General Hospital

Brook Lynn and Danny discuss Drew and how Scout is back living with him. Danny says he wants to get along for the sake of his sister.  

Danny accidentally drops a drink on Drew, who explodes and yells at him until Brook Lynn comes to Danny’s defense. (it is ridiculous how jacked up CamMath is considering Drew’s supposed to have been locked in for months). She calls him a tyrant but says everyone will tolerate him for Scout’s sake. Brook Lynn notes he isn’t part of the Quartermaine family and never will be.  

Drew says he has no interest in the family but warns Brook Lynn while listening to Willow all these months, she will do everything to get Chase. Brook Lynn accuses him of letting petty grievances run his life, but he demands justice. Drew says the Quartermaines will lose everything.

Appel confirmed in the interview that he did a chemistry test with McCoy, with whom he’s shot “a lot” of scenes. However, that doesn’t necessarily tell us more about who Hudson might be, as he explained he’d also filmed with Laura Wright (Carly), Setton, and Swickard.

Appel did reiterate that Hudson is a bit of an enigma, even to him! He explained:

Hudson is a shady businessman, and you’re not clear as to his motives. He goes one way, but then leans the other, and so he kind of keeps you on your toes. So far, what I’ve played, this guy is way cooler than I am, so it’s been so cool to play him. But he’s just been a force to be reckoned with so far, and I’m not even entirely sure as to all of his intentions in Port Charles. I’m excited to see where his journey goes, because I’m very lucky to be playing this character.

Ethan Wants to Move Forward With Ava

Ethan and Ava hang out at the pool, and he says last night was not just a fling for him, that he wants to explore the connection between them. The two lean in for a kiss, but Trina interrupts.

Ava admits to Trina she’s not sure where this is going with Ethan, but she’s enjoying his company. She says she wants to see where it goes.  

Michael meets with Brook Lynn to discuss Deception business but tells her about Drew’s recovery and the divorce. He says Willow will turn her attention back to Chase, but Brook Lynn says she won’t let anything happen.

Brook Lynn tells Chase that Drew has recovered and they’re getting divorced which surprises Chase. He swears it doesn’t matter, that his focus is on her and the baby. Ethan interrupts to say hello and gushes over the baby and how they look good as a family. Later, he spots someone and seems concerned by his presence.

Tracy tells Stella that Maxie has moved to Australia and sold all Deception shares to Michael. Tracy congratulates Stella on the new administrator job and the birth of the baby. Stella talks about the fight between Curtis and Isaiah and how there is no evidence he was involved in the accident. She brings up Portia is going to testify against Curtis and worries it will put him in prison. Stella wants Curtis to take the plea deal, but he refuses and she’s not sure she can sit in the courtroom. Stella says Curtis will never admit that he made a mistake assaulting Isaiah and worries about the outcome of the trial.  

Michael tells Tracy about his conversation with Willow and they’re getting divorced. He says now that she’s free, he believes Willow will run to Chase. Tracy is not worried, since they’ll be signing the adoption papers tomorrow and becoming a family. Michael is certain Willow won’t back off because she hates being alone. 

Serena Returns to Port Charles on General Hospital

Felicia tells Lucy she heard from Maxie and how the family is adjusting to Australia. Lucy is annoyed she has to deal with the mess Maxie left at Deception. Lucy says she has news as Serena arrives and gives her mother a hug. Felicia is thrilled to see her as well and Serena says she needed a break and decided to come home.  

Serena admits to Lucy she lost her entire trust fund because she trusted the wrong people. Lucy tells her about Deception stock being sold to Michael and how Serena will help take her company back.  

Hat Daddy Tries to Convince Curtis to Cop a Plea

Isaiah leaves his patients in Tristan’s care and tells Britt he’s going to be away in order to deal with Curtis’ trial. He says Curtis turned down the plea deal, which surprises Britt. He is determined to nail Curtis in court, but Britt warns him not to be aggressive in court, otherwise Curtis will win.  

Trina is happy to see Marshall at the house and tells him about the music contract. Marshall and Curtis discuss the trial, and his dad thinks Curtis should take the plea deal. Curtis refuses to let Isaiah get away with what he did and move in and raise his son. Marshall says actions have consequences, but Curtis says he was provoked. He tells Curtis to find middle ground and compromise. Stella stops by to see the baby and discusses the trial with them.  

Jack stops by the hospital to check in on Tristan, who’s not happy to see him. Tristan says he doesn’t want the WSB to show up at the hospital and will report whatever needs to be reported when he has it.  

“Peter” Tries to Turn Anna Against Jason on General Hospital

“Peter” talks to Anna, reminding her Cassius and Britt are responsible for what happened to her. He says they’re like their father and will never stop coming for her. Jason drops by and she says she just heard about him being taken in by the WSB. He says they’ve both been through a lot.  

He explains about how he was essentially tortured and did everything he could not to lose his sanity. Anna tells him about her experience and her delusions and is now trying to figure out how they made her believe Faison was alive. She says only his offspring would know what to say to manipulate her. Jason says Britt was forced to do what Cullum wanted and is certain she wasn’t involved. Jason heads to the hospital and spots Tristan and Britt discussing a patient. 

“Peter” tells Anna that Jason is lying about everything including Britt. He insists Britt and Cassius were the ones who tortured her. He says Britt needs to die in order for her to protect her loved ones.

Jamey Giddens and Dan O’Connor have been hired to take the helm as co-head writers at The Young and the Restless, according to TV Insider.

ABC soap fans are familiar with O’Connor for his work on One Life to Live and later as co-head writer at General Hospital. He was also apart of the Days of Our Lives writing team. NBC/Peacock and CBS soap fans are familiar with Giddens’ writing from his time at Days of Our Lives, Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem and Beyond the Gates. Each has won Daytime Emmy and Writers Guild of America Awards. Giddens also created the primetime soap opera Ambitions for The Oprah Winfrey Network, starring Robin Givens.

This also marks a historic moment in the pages of soap opera history, as Giddens becomes the first black male co-head writer of a daytime soap opera.

Daytime Confidential readers and listeners also know Jamey as the co-owner and long-time co-host of the Daytime Confidential podcast. He recently returned to Daytime Confidential to help it celebrate its 1200th episode and talk about his journey as a writer. The Quartermaines Celebrate Jason’s Return

The Quartermaines are happy to see Jason back home. Ned mentions there was damage done to the speed boat as Danny arrives. Danny admits to bumping the boat and Jason says he’s going to get his job back at the pool and pay for it out of his wages. Gio shows up and tells them what happened to Drew last night. He says Drew is back to himself which seems to concern Michael who takes off.  

Jason wants to know how he ended up in the water, but Gio says Drew only wanted to go home and didn’t explain what happened. Tracy says Drew’s lifetime ban from the Q mansion is back in effect. Gio wants them to give Drew a second chance, but Tracy and Jason disagree. Gio brings up Scout, but Tracy says while she’s welcome, her father isn’t.  

Tracy wonders what Danny thinks, and he says she shouldn’t ban Drew. He says for Scout’s sake he wants to co-exist. Jason agrees with Danny and after some arguing Tracy agrees to only allow Drew if he’s with Scout. Danny gives Tracy a hug.  

Ava wakes up beside Ethan after spending the night together. She wonders what he has to gain from sleeping with her. Ethan claims he slept with her because he likes her and not to overthink it.  

Jack and Nina Get Beyond Their Manipulations and Agree to Go on a Date on General Hospital

Nina can’t believe she dumped Drew in the lake, but Jack says it shows she would do anything for Willow. Nina swears what she did wasn’t premeditated and Jack believes her. She says she had to protect Willow from Drew and is upset she fell for his manipulation. Nina is grateful Jack’s instinct was to clean up her mess but wonders why he’s helping her.  

Jack claims he’s helping Nina in order to keep Congresswoman Cain happy but is also grateful Nina saved his life. He asks her to dinner and the two share a kiss (gosh darn it, I find them cute together)

Drew’s Return Throws Port Charles Into Chaos!

Trina tells Kai that Drew is back on his feet and what Gio told them the night before. They wonder if Willow was the one who pushed Drew into the water and questions why he wouldn’t have gone to the police. Trina thinks Drew is blackmailing Willow and believes they can put everything behind them. Kai says they have to protect Willow’s kids and Trina thinks maybe they should tell Michael that Willow shot Drew.  

Willow tells Alexis and Molly she’s filing for divorce and Drew is no longer locked in. Alexis says she can’t represent her because with Drew back, he decides what happens to Scout and she wants access.  

Felicia tells Liz that Maxie’s family is on their way to Australia and how sad she is they’ve moved. She asks Liz about Drew’s communication device as the man himself walks into the hospital with Martin. Liz and Felicia are shocked, and Drew claims it just happened and Felicia takes him to see the neurologist.

Liz questions Martin, who says Drew called him for a ride and Willow wasn’t there. After they leave, Liz questions Felicia on Willow’s whereabouts. Liz calls her then tells Felicia that Willow is filing divorce papers which confuses Liz. Felicia tells her to let it go.  

Michael confronts Willow about the kids being around Drew now that he’s back to normal, but she says they’re divorcing. She wants Michael to adjust the terms of the custody agreement, but he turns her down. The two argue and list their various negatives and Willow thinks she has the upper hand.

Drew shows up to tell Alexis and Molly he’s taking Scout home today. Martin says the restraining order is still in effect, and Willow didn’t have the right to allow Scout to stay with Alexis. Drew says he won’t ever let her near his daughter again and anything she did for Willow doesn’t carry any weight.  

Alexis argues with Drew and thinks it’s just a matter of time before someone takes another shot at him. Scout gets home and shares a hug with him, and he swears they won’t be separated again.

In March, it was announced that Dean would be rejoining GH. He previously portrayed the con artist from Down Under, son of Luke Spencer (Tony Geary) and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms), between 2009 and 2012. He popped back in a few times in the subsequent years, with James Ryan temporarily portraying the character in 2023.

Ethan returned to Port Charles earlier this spring. He alleged he was the biological dad of little Phoebe, foster daughter of Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton), but it turns out he’s not the baby’s dad.

Interestingly, Howard isn’t American, either; he’s British! The actor previously appeared as Ken Masters in two Street Fighter series and a short film.
